Actually, when will Loreos be open to signing up?friskywhiskers wrote:Hey welcome to CC! We appreciate your enthusiasm in joining the LCC, but unfortunately the Factions of Loreos and Lenfald are currently closed to new sign ups due to faction imbalance. You are still definitely welcome to join Garhiem or Outlaws!Erasmus_Accasius wrote:I'm all in on joining. For the Glory of....let's see....Loreos! Not for a long while, we need to wait for the other factions to fill up a bit. If you are truly committed to Loreos, you can wait but no promises of it opening anytime soon.

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
Loreos and Lenfald are both closed until the other two factions catch up in terms of active members. As of now, Lenfald and Loreos both have over 30 active members, while Garheim and Outlaws only have 15 and 11, respectively.
Garheim and Outlaws are both excellent factions to join and troops for those factions will be readily available with the release of the new Castle line of sets

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
ATTENTION ALL LCC MEMBERS!
We are fortunate to have some truly amazing builders amongst us, and we recently have had the privilege of having several of our LCC MOCs published on the esteemed "The Brothers Brick" (TBB) Lego blog, one of the (if not THE) top Lego blogs on the web today.
This exposure provides us with a tremendous opportunity to get some free advertising for the LCC project! However, we are not cashing in to the full extent that we could be, so this is what I'm proposing:
1 - For all LCC-related MOCs, provide a link to this LCC general info thread so that people can easily learn a little more about the project with one click of the mouse.
2 - If the MOC is for a particular LCC challenge, give a short description of the challenge and a link to the challenge thread, if one exists.
3 - If you find this request too burdensome to add to every MOC, then at least go back and add the above info if you are blogged, and comment on the blog post with the above info.
To date, I've been giving this info in the comments, but it would be great if we could get it into the original blog posts, since I think that a lot of people don't always read the comments section.
Keep up the good work, guys. Big congrats to our three Outlaws who had their GC4 MOCs featured on TBB this month! Bravo!

Also, once the outlaws select a finalist, if someone would like to make a collage and do a short write-up briefly describing the challenge and the LCC, maybe we can get TBB to give us an "official" plug on their site, while giving our finalists some exposure at the same time

Which faction are you? I'll join the Outlaws, I suppose. Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
Do we have a LCC logo we could place in the corner of our pictures? I think I saw one once, but it was a little too big to fit this purpose.

I'd suggest adding it as a layer in GIMP and then just re-size it to fit what you need.

I really like this idea, is there a way we can have a faction specific logo too?Bentoft wrote:Do we have a LCC logo we could place in the corner of our pictures? I think I saw one once, but it was a little too big to fit this purpose.

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
So after reading the results of the GC4 thread again, I am curious.
Did we ever come up with a name for the war?
Also, what is the status for the empty throne, or is that still something in the works (GC5)?

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
yes I agree with Schmidt it seems also the other great events had names like GC2 The hunt for the sword of legend so I think that a name for this war would be most interesting and useful to avoid confusion if there are more wars in the future.

Simple, concise, and not favorable toward any kingdom!
