The Kings council has agreed that the war will be called "War of Roawian Succession" :)
Nice thats cool well I could not have picked a better name myself hopefully in the future with the trouble that's coming hopefully the future conflicts will have a more concise outcome [I would think in our favor  ]

I'm not entirely sure if I'm in the right forum here ( Funny since I've been in this game for over a year now :P ) but are there currently any plans for an LCC collaborative display at BF VA this year? I know a couple of us LCCers are going, I've gone incognito since '09, and I've asked around but nobody seems to know.

Thanks.

Mark of Falworth and Brother Steven are going and are bringing their magnificent Everard Lodge II. I am bringing 3 MOCs built for LCC, but since I'm already building for the Civil War and Pharaoh's Labyrinth collabs, I'm out of time right now. Sir Haymar is also coming to BFVA with 2 LCC MOCs.

If you guys get all of your LCC MOCs together, be sure to take some pictures for the Flickr group :D

That's a great idea!
Anyone going to Brickfair Virginia Aug 1-4, please PM me so we can coordinate. I have seen a draft version of the map, and Castle is a large area right up front as you enter, which is great for public viewing. It would be excellent if we could collectively snap a few pics together.

Man I wish I could display and go all 4 days this year, but I don't have to money for parts, travel, fees, etc. :( Maybe next year though? We could start a thread in the Display & Events thread if you, and any other LCCers are attending BF VA 14 though. Hopefully I can get enough money by then.

Also, I have a question for a future build I'm planning. Would something similar to the Draugr* concept portrayed in SKyrim be acceptable to include in a MOC? I understand that we don't want to completely rip things from games and literature that's why I ask.

*They are undead corpses from Norse/Icelandic mythology, that appear to retain some semblance of intelligence. They exist either to guard their treasure, wreak havoc on living beings, or torment those who had wronged them in life. - Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draugr

I think others have used undead beings before, so I don't have a problem with it.

So I recently just joined and I have a question about making a character.

I will join a nation but I was wondering if my character could have come from another Land other than Roawia? So essentially he is an immigrant.

If this is not possible as in Roawia has no other lands near it then I'll change my character.

Night Hawk, that would be fine, but we'd prefer to keep Roawia somewhat isolated. Maybe your character's land of origin is just "unknown" rather than from a specific foreign land? Just an idea :)

So the only open land is Garhiem so I'll be joining that nation but is it possible for my character to be from Loreos.

I'm not asking to join Loreos I'll still be with Garhiem its just for back story.

Garheim and Outlaws are both open for new sign-ups. And yes, your character could originally have been from Loreos or any other part of Roawia :)

That should be ok. No one got onto me for doing that last month. :tasty:
But just to be clear, both the Garheim and Outlaw factions are open. I'd love to have you in Garheim but with recent events, it looks like the Outlaws are going to be having some extra fun.

Edit: ninja'd.

Sure. My character was born in Northern Lenfald, but I'm still an Outlaw.

Also, the Outlaw faction is open as well.

Yessss... come to the not-so-dark side! :sly:
(The true dark side is now the Queen and her Dragon knights) :P

I have a few questions but I haven't seen any concrete evidence on their answers. I also do not want to spoil any surprises relating to future stories, but I must ask....

Are the new Dragon Knights only usable by the queens army, or can they be in our outlaw forces? Are all Dragon Knights apart of the new Queens force?
Example: Outlaw A is one of the new Dragon Knights. Is he forced to be apart of the queens army or can he run around separate from them, doing what he wants?

Also, are outlaws subject to the queen like Garheims to the Jarl or Lenfels to Triphian? Is she considered the outlaw leader, or do we answer to no one?

I hope I worded these correctly, trying to get everything straight (I'm DYING to use the new Dragon troops!).

Finally, I couldn't decide if these questions should be posted here or on the discussion thread.
If this is wrong, please redirect me
