Another way to get an overview of a players build is on this page: http://bentoft.dk/lego/LCC/scores/index.php

Hi Bentoft,

this could work fine, but then we need a way to display the MOCs in a chronological order ==> user needs to be able to define the order somehow.
As far as I understand the MOCs are sorted by their rank/awesomness (how do you compute it BTW?).

Cheers
Adam

Hi Bentoft. [From land of Lego ] :D Checked out that list and it seems very short of the number of members who have completed LCC builds [as listed in Factional Member Lists] but also, free builds etc. Maybe the list doesn't include free builds or isn't up to date ? It looks interesting though .
Have found Lists location. Thanks Bentoft. :)

Will the new blue lion knights work for Garheim?

Yes. Several people are using them for Garheim troops. The new dragon troops are the "official" soldiers of the Evil Queen.

General observations for a new [senior] AFOL. Simply, this is a great site and I love it. Yet it could be improved. Many coming here already have a basic grounding in LEGO and a heap of blocks. For others [my self included] , we arrive by accident, probably enticed by the incredibley wonderful MOC's. Most would agree they are awesome. Then the difficulty begins. This site is huge [to me]. I've had lots of help and encouragement and just now am starting to get the hang of it ! I've made many mistakes but have learned. Only now do I feel capable of building/recording image in Flykr ,adding storyline and successfully creating a MOC thread and attaching Image and story. Basically , you have to muck in and not get let the difficulties turn you off the enjoyment of participating in LCC.
I really believe new folk could benefit from a buddy system, at least initially. Admins and liason folk work so hard but I'm pretty sure others would help . With encouragement and one on one help, maybe our ranks could grow with newcomers helped in this way . Maybe veteran Roawians willing to help in this way could be on a LCC buddy list of some sort ? Leave it with you [admin/liasons] to ponder this over the Christmas break . :D
Oh and thanks again to everyone for their assistance in helping me work out my MOC/Imaging problems. Really appreciate it. :D

All right. I'm considering joining Garheim or Lenfald

Lenfald is currently closed for new players, but I'm sure the hardy folk of the north would love to have you join their ranks. Of course the outlaws are always looking for another!

For those of you wondering what happened to me, some complications relating to work and school showed up. I really do intend to get involved at some point, I just don't have a lot of free time at the moment. Being a grown-up sucks some times. :?

Can someone explain the free build to me? Is this a build that can be anything whatsoever? Are there any rules or limitations associated with it?

A free build is a MOC that's not entered into any contest e.g. a GC. They get you two personal points, and can be any size (I think!) :)

Like Sir Erathor said, a free build is just a build that is not entered into a contest such as a GC or a Local Challenge. Free builds also differ from guild builds. There are no size restrictions, and you may submit as many as wish, but you will only get points for two per month.
Hope this helps
