Outlaws -- Mage's Guild A3 - "Your Mage succeeding at a magic feat!"
Drakk's First Summoning
Fire magic came easily to Drakk. Tied to his emotions, he could unleash an immense inferno if he was angry. The other schools of magic were more difficult. He needed to memorize incantations, gestures, and intricate rituals. Despite these obstacles, Drakk devoted himself to mastering all of them (but oh how he hated ice magic).
After acquiring a particularly wicked grimoire devoted to the school of summoning, he decided to focus his efforts on the tome. Its pages contained numerous spells of conjuration that could summon a variety of planar creatures; from avenging angelic beings to twisted demonic soldiers. One page detailed how to summon a shadow demon and bend it to one’s will. A potent spy, the demon is able to travel vast distances at the blink of an eye and is nearly invisible when it keeps to the dark. Because a shadow demon is not very powerful, they are useful for novice summoners. “Well I must begin somewhere,” Drakk thought to himself. “Besides I am curious what the neighbors are up to.” Drakk sent for some initiates of the Order of the Shadow Flame to prepare his ritual site, and left his lair with an excited air of confidence.
The torches flared as he began the incantation. As Drakk’s voice rose in volume as he spoke the final words, a figure began to materialize hovering above the altar. Tendrils of dark energy wisped around its form as it came into existence. The shadows cast by the dancing flames of the torches seemed to gravitate towards the figure now kneeling on the altar. In an echoing whisper, the demon spoke, “Master….what do wish of me?” Drakk grinned as he searched for an appropriate response...

Had a lot of free time this week, so 2 mage guild entries!!
On this one I tried to do as many smooth edges as possible, I don't know if that took away from the "ruin" feel I was going for or not. What do you guys think?
