Name: Sir Haymar Glen
Sir Haymar Glen is the eldest child of Lord Anthony and Lady Analita . He
has one sibling, his younger sister by two years, Ana Glen. The Glen family
castle, Carenval is located on the coast just West-Northwest of Durrough.
When he turned twenty-four, Haymar was supposed to be given control of
Carenval by his aging father. But Haymar wanted nothing to do with lordship
or politics and instead set off on a quest with childhood friends Mirranda Hale
and Ivan McPherson.
His quest was to find a mythical treasure, so he left his sister in charge of
the castle. Ana, who had never been one for questing or danger, was content
to run the castle in her brother’s place, but that was about change. When
Haymar returned home flushed with success, he found to his horror that his
father’s chief advisor, Varden, had seized control of the castle. He had also
thrown Haymar’s sister and their parents in the dungeon, dismissed the guard
and let in a local Outlaw clan he had secretly been paying.
Once he had reorganized the guard, Haymar was faced with the unenviable
task of laying siege to his own castle. But Haymar knew a secret way into the
castle and led a squad of men up the secret passage under the cover of
darkness. He took the outlaws by surprise, enabling him to take back the
castle and free his sister and parents. He slew Varden in the great hall,
surprising him during dinner with the Outlaw clan’s leader.
Furious over her inability to stop the outlaws from throwing her into her
own dungeon, Ana began to train with her brother and soon became a
competent archer and master swordswoman. Now Haymar, Ana, Mirranda
and Ivan ride together for victory and great Lenfald!
