Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread.
Here is my entry for Loreos LC7: "Thirst"
Story:
After traveling across the scorching deserts of Loreos, Lord Tathann and his men stop at a river to rest and quench their thirst before continuing on their search for the Outlaw's secret fortress.
(Not all of Lord Tathann's men are pictured)
For the glory of Loreos!

You get 2 points for 2 free builds each month. You can build more free builds than that (per month), but you just won't get points for them.royalbrickcustoms wrote:Hey does anybody know if you get points for Free Build(s)?

Yes, you get 2 points for a free build, with a maximum of 2 in a month. So you can get 4 points/month with free builds.royalbrickcustoms wrote:Hey does anybody know if you get points for Free Build(s)?

Btw. You shouldn't build for points... it will get boring, build for the fun!

Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread.
Hey guys here is my first LCC-Loreos Free Build (for October):
LCC-Loreos: "An Important Meeting" (Free Build #1)
From left-to-right:
Commander Flavius (left), Lord Tathann (center), Sir Festus (right)
Story:
One day Tathann gathered with his commanders for a important meeting.
Lord Tathann: "I have gathered you both here to discuss the attacks by the Outlaws, primarily to discuss the attacks by the clan Shadow Force."
Sir Festus: "You mean the Outlaw clan that resides on the Magical Isle of the Outlaws. They are a mysterious band that bears the symbol of the black scorpion with dark blood-red markings."
Lord Tathann: "It has been said that they have a large black fortress in the center of the Isle."
Commander Flavius: "Lord Tathann, they must have hundreds, if not thousands of Outlaw soldiers on the Island and surrounding the fortress, but we have only two-hundred Loresi soldiers in your army Lord Tathann."
Lord Tathann: "Then we must try to form an alliance with my friend Lord Marvran and his Lenfald army if we are to even attempt to launch an assault on the Isle and fortress."
Sir Festus: Lord Tathann, Commander Flavius ready you troops we are going to Lenfald...!"

Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread.
A story that carries on from my LC7 build-
LCC-Merchants Guild-A3- Plight in The Desert
After Hayden and Arhimedies had fulfilled their need to qench their thirst, they decided to go back to the wreckage site, and salvage what they could After all they had lost everything, their wagons, their goods and even their friends, goodness knows where they got to!
Hayden decided to fix up some of the old wooden carts into a primitive sledge to be pulled by a surviving horse, who had also found the water. The sledge was not very stable, but suited their needs.
Arhimedies then scavenged the best surviving goods from the wreckage. He found a lot, as the wrecked cart, must have just had a successful trade, as it was full of Gold and expensive goods!
After that they loaded it all upon the sledge and headed northwards, to get to The Great Eastern Dunes Market.
-----------
LCC-Loreos-A New Cart
As soon as Hayden and Arhimedies reached the Great Eastern Dunes Market, they sought out the highest paying buyers for the goods they had salvaged.
This considerably added to the gold they had found, making them both very rich.
Arhimedies turned to Hayden and said " Hayden, I must say, despite that bad luck in the desert, being with you is rather profitable! What do you plan to do next? And may I accompany you?"
Hayden was rather surprised at his friends words, But had no objection, " Why of course you may stay with me my friend! I would actually prefer a expert trader and friend like you where I'm going!
You see, I plan to buy a chart, and using my Baronage, Get some guards and using the same route a fellow Loreesi and Merchant used, Thomas of Arrowford, used, I plan to travel to Garheim!"
Ah yes I've herd of him, set himself up good, going there, It will be jolly cold, But I believe that we could make a fortune there. For just a moment ago I saw some very cheap coffee beans, a common drink for us, a luxury for others, and if we took enough we would make whole Chests of gold ingots!" responded Arhimedies.
"Precisely Arhimedies, If you will look to the Cart, and I will look after how we get their, for I hear the Garheim Guards are very nasty, and try to steal humble merchants goods."

A free build for Loreos, and a bridge build to let my story continue from the Apprentice Series of Merchant Guilds Builds, to Journeyman level builds.

Looks out for my first Journeyman entry, and another Free build!
BTW Great entries to the LC7 guys, and very nice free build royalbrickcustoms !

Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread.
Hear Ye Hear Ye
May it be known to all loreesi that a great deal with our northern neighbours has been struck!
It is a trade deal, allowing Loreesi trader to use Garheims trade routes, even under armed guard!
As long as we obey the following conditions, all convoys must provide their own military escort, or hire them from local militias, and they must be led by an experienced Garhim wilderness guide, which you should have no trouble finding as there are typically several qualified men in every town.
But if you dare venture with trade into the icy wilderness be warned,Winter comes early to the northern lands, so be sure your men are outfitted appropriately.
Be wary of not only outlaws, but the ferocious wildlife that call our lands home. Stick to well-established routes, and you should fare just fine.
Things we can trade with them:
Spices
Coffee and tea
Excess crops
Horses and ostriches
Cloth
While they are not our allies, like the lenfalds, Trade Rights such as these are mutually beneficial.
If you want to Mae the most of this, join the merchants guild!

Great news!
Its good to see a return of activity to Loreos!
We've been letting Garhim and those outlaws out do us!
Which we can't allow to happen!

Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread.
Big Ben has Donged.
That means its high noon in London and Thirst! (LC7) is now closed.
First off, I’d like to thank you all for the enthusiasm with which you went about this task. I’m thrilled with both the quantity and quality of your entries and particularly like the fact you extracted everything from laughter, to revulsion (in a good way), to stunned amazement from me at your builds. The entertainment was certainly worth the price of the prizes, so thank you.
Right, we need to get the voting started, as we need a winner.
Voting
1. Any member of the CC forums can vote, you don’t have to be a Loreesi, or even an LCC member. I’d still like your opinion.
2. You can only vote once and if you entered, you can’t vote for your own entry.
3. To vote, please consider all nine of the entries below and pm me the character name of the one which you think should win.
4. I’m going to leave the voting open until Noon (GMT) on Sunday (Nov 4th) If by then we’ve had a reasonable number of votes to declare an outright winner then that winner shall be declared. If not, then I shall make a decision, using any cast votes as a guide, as I don’t want to run into the CCC too much.

The winner gets a whopping 6 faction points, a special winner’s certificate will appear on their Flickr page and they may adopt an air of smug satisfaction until LC8.
Right that’s it then…. What’s that?... Oh yes! The free Lego – silly me
All nine entries above have earned their freebies. If you have a * next to your name, then I have already received your instructions. So, those with no * if you’d like your oasis mini-build, then you need to let me know where to send it. Please send me a private message with an address in. If I haven’t heard from you by next Wednesday (8th Nov), I’ll assume you don’t want it and it goes into my ammo for the CCC (please, please let there be an oasis category).
If you don’t want to, or are not allowed to give out your address, then we have an alternative offering that will respect those wishes, so still get in touch.
Please bare in mind these are being posted from the UK, so base your delivery time expectations on that.
Last one to get their oasis built is an outlaw.
