I was just wondering about the power structures in Loreos. We have the prince, but is he an almighty ruler of Loreos? Or is there a counsil or something? Is there any internal conflicts in Loreos? Who would rule Loreos if the prince died? Does he have a son? Would it just be the one who took the power (the most powerful)?

I just want to start some discussions, since I could use some internal intrigues in my story.

LC11 - Fortifying the Border
Here's my LC11 MOC. I believe it's the first one.
Story:
The war for Roawia had truly finished, and Erathor was glad. It had torn apart too many families, and too many men lay dead on it's battlefields. Now, Erathor made his way back to a small outpost on the border of Loreos, where he had hired workers to make the tower stronger, at Prince Jarius' command.
On arrival, Erathor saw that the workers had almost finished. Any wooden parts had been replaced with stone, and a small wall had been built around the outside, protecting the door more effectively. An old soldier was overseeing the work, and as Erathor rode past with Allaeus he called out to them.
"I hope we have done enough to satisfy your demands!" He laughed as he said it. Chuckling himself, Erathor rode on past the outpost, pleased that he could serve his country in something other than war with their fellow Roawians.

I'm fairly certain there is a council of Loreos that rules under the prince. As for if the prince died, his steward would probably take control for a time.

A lot of these points haven't been decided on yet. I would say the Prince is not married and has no children. (He's never been portrayed with any family.) The power of the Prince is practically absolute. There is a council of nobles who help the Prince govern the province.

If the prince were to die, things could get very turbulent. Because, as of now, there is no truly designated heir.

Isn't the Prince's nephew Mark of Falworth?

Also why hasn't the Prince found a wife?

Maybe that should be our next LC "Lonely and powerful bachelor Prince seeks companion: She must be able to fight off hordes of outlaws in a single bout while cooking supper, likes long walks along sandy shores after defeating her enemies at the same time not even breaking a finger nail and enjoys the company of horses because she knows she is more beautiful than the finest destriers in the land. If you meet any of these characteristics please visit the Royal Palace or Loreos" :)

I'm certain I could find a fine daughter of Morastia to meet the Princes needs...they are all battle hardened Vets, who are knock dead gorgeous and make the finest wives in all of Loreos. Plus if it made him content she could bring the heads of his enemies on a platter. ;)

Even better...we could hold a Royal Games afterwards if he decides to get married and have another jousting tournament. :D
