Sounds very interesting! and having the only mines in Loreos would make it a very important position.

I have a few suggestions... for the Capitol I would call it "Dalmanutha" or "Capernum". just ideas.
I agree with the mining because we have mountains within our domain. After all we need resources to arm the masses with. Iron has to come from somewhere right...we can't assume that we would just import it from Garheim always. ;) But I don't think we should just claim one mine. Maybe three. One in that mountain and two in the other mountains. Whereas Garheim could claim as many as they want and would remain the primary producer of resources.

As for the capital. Agreed. I like the name and since you are our FO Mark...I think it can be your choice or we can vote on names for the capital...either or works for me.

Also I've plotted a map with the Mor-Renuii Territorial Influence. AKA region where they are and areas that they influence. ;) I'm already planning on building some Moc's around irrigated farms, weapons forging etc. Gotta supply our troops and people with food in case Mark says that we are going to war. ;)

Also is it safe to assume we get most of our lumber from Lenfald? Just wondering. I have some ideas around making a MOC showing this, but first should we establish a Trade deal in the first place with Lenfald?

Also see attached map. (I made the capital on both sides of the River). Also I wasn't trying to make the Mor-Renuii Capital City too big...just wanted to point its primary location out along with the lesser towns/cities and the two other Great Cities of the Mor-Renuii Culture. Just a way to map out regional influences. Other cities can be found within the region as well that are non-Mor-Renuii. ;)

Okay guys here are my two entries to the joust.

First off we have Robin Longstride ( my LCC fig).

Image

He is well armored and he prefers the speed and agility of a horse.

Now we have Thadeus.
Image
He is pretty well armored and he prefers the height and sturdiness that a camel provides.

Image
Both of them together.

Well good luck to everyone in this joust. I didn't get to make a back round thing for them because I am crunched on time.

For the glory of Loreos!

Ahh! Towards the rebels! That would be good too! :)

*Edit*Mattiusxavier, I do not aprove of that map. We can not place that many cities.
Please read my PM.

*2nd edit*Ideas and suggestions regarding the map can also be stated on the Flickr photo. That way people can point out something without having to make a new map each time. :)

No worries Mark. I was stating a zone of influence. Take note that I'm only actually stating three major cities. One being the following:

To be fair, I'm not stating that people can't place cities in similar areas or create an overlap. Since the map is relatively small and doesn't allow for greater details. However, I am stating that we should be allowed to claim spots where cultures, groups or (small cities, towns or villages) may have sprung up even if they might be next to another city or other members cities and villages. After all the idea is we all share the map. ;)

Our capital should be Loreos minor or Loreos ultra.

Hail Brave competitors, once you have made and posted a Knights, can you please send me, a PM with your Knight's names and a picture of each.
Thanks you.

I think, to get our wood and the like, we should have a great eastern Dune market, the biggest open market in the land!, what do you think?

The rest of your ideas are great!

Thanks Hayden! I like your ideas too. We should have a Great Eastern Dune Market. We can make it a point where all who dwell within Loreos can be represented. Like a Great Forum per se. We may need walls around it though to keep out the desert. ;)

Hail Knights of Loreos!

This is about the mapping of our noble country,

Each member will need to label One main city, the home for your in-game character , and a small town for supply and the like.
You can also note down any landmarks or mines or buildings you would like to see put on the map.
On each note you must put it down as
"CC username
City type/ Building type
name of city"

You can do this here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/legomoreph ... hotostream
Thank you.

'in character': "Why should we trade to get our hands on what's already within our reach? Let's put our military supremacy to good use and take whatever we need."

'On a sidenote, I've dispatched my greatest knights to the jousting grounds. No doubt they'll do me honour:'

Image

'They were trained by me to joust across a flaming barricade, forcing them to have complete control over their steeds.'

Image

'You will find them to be quite evenly matched; after all the lances were broken, a fruitless yet entertaining melee ensued.'

Image

'Dame Marline 'the Sword of Dawn' Indole is no doubt known to you, she has served by my side since childhood, and has been my most loyal cohort ever since. Since no man in the Kingdom has the guts to take the risk of harming me in a joust, she is my representative. I trust she will be treated with the same respect I myself would.'

Image

'Lothar 'the Scorpion' Ezek is my right hand man. I know he is despised by many for his past as an outlaw, but if he hadn't betrayed his kin, it would have taken us years and far more precious Loreesi lives to find and destroy their hideout. I haven't regretted knighting him a second, and I am certain this joust will be a perfect opportunity for him to prove the other nobles of the realm shouldn't look down on him.'

Ok, I have a few ideas about the capital city (first things first, then I will think about the resources  ).

I've made a little sketch and want to show you:

Image

and here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pedroivoep ... otostream/

It's a view from the sky (superior view? high view? I don't know how to say it in english, sorry!)
This is how I think it would make a great and imponent Capital City. With constructions on both sides of the river and a great bridge connecting them, fortified walls around the city with big towers to defend it. If you like the general idea, I can draw the hole city according to this.

If you agree, I can draw more and make it on the paintbrush too.

Pedro, the plans are looking good, they could use some development but are looking good! The angle you are looking for is a birds-eye view.

Knights of Loreos, form the few members who have plotted their cities, I have devise a map, please have a look and tell me what you would like to have changed.
