Great LC participation guys! Remember to PM Hayden. for your personal status points!
As to the recent discussion, some good ideas and points have been brought up, my thoughts are thus...
-Factional identity, I think we don't have to much trouble distinguishing ourselves from our counterparts, we're flamboyant and militaristic, we ride elephants to battle, we have the best cavalry in the world, we have the largest ships in the seas, we have the most creative architectural styles available to us and we're looking to rise in the faction ranks.
-Currency, this has been briefly discussed before, but to me it doesn't seem like a huge deal, Medieval merchants used many different currencies and I've always thought it best to leave it up to the individual, and allow lots of creativity.
All the names suggested can be used, (I would like to add the 'bezant' as a possible choice ) As I have yet to see any builds which prominently feature the currency of Loreos I think we can leave it pretty vague.
-Religion, this has been discussed in the general discussion thread, and the Kings Council has decided that as there are many different beliefs from many different members in LCC, it would be best to (again) leave it up to the individual, If you want to make a temple or church, go for it! We don't want to limit creativity. But nobody should be required to participate.
-Special forces/Knight orders, as we all should know, there are several knightly orders in LCC... many of them are in Loreos.
The duties of these Orders are varied, and what the Order does and doesn't do is up to the creator of the Order. Most of these are already operating as special forces and spies and I don't see the need for them to be made into official special forces of our faction.
Again, it's best left to the individual, if you want a special force next to your main army, go for it! But it shouldn't be necessary.
-Legal Systems, I don't really see the need for an official legal system, unless you were making a build showing your character participating in one. And in that case I would make one up that would fit into a medieval/feudal society. The less rules that take away creative possibilities the better, IMO.
-Rulership, Prince Jarius Lorean is the present ruler of Loreos, the position is hereditary, and his power is absolute. I control This "Non playable" character for the Kings Council, so that we can lead LCC itself to greatness!
-Revolting from present King, ........ Patience is a virtue.
For the Glory of Loreos!
