As Roger had predicted, a small squad of Loreesi, about 8 soldiers and 2 noblemen, came to the oasis at about 2:00pm the following day. The Outlaws ambushed them. One nobleman was shot, and 2 soldiers were cut down before Gavin called a halt. The Loreesi huddled together, wondering what would happen to them. Gavin noted their terror, so he spoke to them.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you. I'm holding you for ransom. It's not much, honestly. My men are hungry and we want food and money."

The remaining nobleman gulped.

"I have money and food, please may I send two of my soldiers back to my castle to get it?"

Gavin agreed and the two soldiers set off. They said they'd be back in about a week.

Gavin and his men brought them to their stronghold, back in the mountains, to wait out the week.

Yep, it varies from person to person, but it's essentially the same concept. I'm also interested in a guild, and being a hero or architect doesn't fit my character any more than a smuggler/merchant would...ooh the possbilities!

Aeridian, perhaps you could join the mage's guild?
I think my character is going to join them. It seems to be a good fight for an outlaw, and since Silas "my character" is proficient with a crossbow, why not have him shoot magical bolts?

It seems the mage's guild is the least used as well, so I think it would be very sensible for an outlaw to join it.

Thanks SSchmidt! I'm not sure what I did differently from other builders who've used water...

I'm still trying to decypher what the last part of your sentence means. The wording seems to be in a slightly confusing order.

I was on my iPad when I typed that. I guess I was so tired I didn't pay as well of attention as I should have (it was in the middle of a game ).
Allow me translate.

It was supposed to say "in part 8 of your entry" and "Looks very realistic."

You mean part 7? There isnt a boat in part 8. The part numbers are above the pictures, not below.

Although its not really my bussiness... Just trying to help.
