in the southern province lays a castle that challenges all others, originally a trading post, as more wealth and more threats came in from the other factions the walls were built taller and stronger. a village started to pop up around the castle and soon a strong agricultural life style was based around the stronghold. right now the castle is under attack by a group of roving trolls but not to worry for help is on the way.

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't been around very much lately. Life gets really busy before you know it! I've got a lot of building to catch up on, like on the greco-roman group and others on Flickr... but don't worry, I'll be able to contribute to Garheim soon!

(Sir Ankles the Bold) That's one incredible castle!

Sincerely,
Sir Angus the Bold

P.S. The entries for the LC5 are looking very nice! :D

EDIT 2: Winners announced, Scores Updated. Thanks for the great participation on LC5 with such short notice. You guys are awesome and it was a tough decision. Keep an eye out for LC6 soon, as well as GC2!! Let's win a second straight GC and show the rest of Roawia who's the best!

Scores updated. Gurusql, it occurs to me that the reason I missed your Heroes Guild MOC the first time was because there wasn't a link posted here. I usually "one-stop-shop" for points updates on this list, so for you and anyone else who does a free build or guild build, be sure to link here so that I see it when I update the scores :)

GC2 is now Posted!

Let's be sure that Garheim walks away with a 2nd straight victory! I want to see full faction participation from you guys. :D

Also, we will use a vote to select our faction's finalist as opposed to me choosing like we did in GC1. Hopefully this is "more fair" to everyone, and it will also enable me to participate fully as well, which is a fun prospect for me ;)

I updated the Garheim member list on the wiki but I left out those without any points. If you want I can add them in anyway :)

Scores are updated, including Tasty's "Blood on the Ice" MOC, which he forgot to link here. Please review your score and let me know via PM if you see anything that needs correction.

OK, so the GC is in full-swing, so let's all be sure to focus on that.

With that said, the Outlaws have started up a really neat version of the "joust" that some other factions have been doing, and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in doing something like that over here in the near future? PM me with your suggestions. It would be cool if we could come up with a twist that would make it sort of unique to Garheim. It wouldn't even need to be a "battle", it could be some other kind of competition as well. I have an idea but I'll wait to see what you come up with before I take it any further.

Keep up the good work, everyone!

You could do a fish-slapping contest :)
Slapping eachother with the over abundant fish from Garheims fishing waters.

On a serious note, wouldn't a interprovincial joust/duel be fun ?

As I recall, there were more events in tournaments than simply the jousting - perhaps another form of combat, such as swordfighting or archery? Or even several events at once, perhaps.
