Scores have been updated. Please review for accuracy and completeness. Thanks again to Gurusql for picking up my slack while I'm studying :D

Congratulations to the finalists for GCV!

I know that the voting was pretty close, and I'm really impressed with the quality of all of the entries. Best of luck in the finals, and please remember to vote for your favorites once the final voting begins for a chance to win a prize by Royal Brick Customs, just for voting! :eyebrows:

I'm a bit behind on the LCC global storyline. This story takes place before the events of GCV and is how my character, Jaykob Tannerson, ended up at the coronation.
Previous episode here http://www.flickr.com/photos/andhe/9721350643/

After a few days of travel over land and sea Jaykob, Happy and the Lenfel Brewer arrived at the Royal Castle. The roads were nicely paved and the flags fluttered in the breeze as a jester cavorted about on the ramparts.

"What a delightful place!" remarked Happy, Jaykob's lenfel cousin, "Mother will be impressed that we've been to see the Queen!".

"She's not the Queen yet laddo" interupted the Brewer, "but after all this war, we could certainly do with a good celebration. Always cheers the spirits". He pulled the cart up to one of the side trade entrances where two guards stood on patrol. Like all castles of this design and material, the entrance was in fact too small for a waggon to pass through. The older of the two guards stepped out to meet them.

"Who goes there?" questioned the guard. "Only a waggon-load of the finest beverages in all of Roawia, that's who!" chorlted the Brewer "I have me papers somewhere..." he rummaged in his coat pockets until he produce some paperwork bearing the royal seal.

The guard took the papers and read them thoroughly, "Seems to all be in order" he replied stoically "You'll have to unload here and carry them through. Proceed".

Part 2 coming soon.

Hey all, don't forget about the current "Hidden Camp" LC we are currently running. Deadline is 10/13, so you have about 2 weeks to get an entry ready! :)

Yes, please. In general that reduces the number of thread that need be reviewed for scoring purposes.

Thanks

Brother Steven, your MOC doesn't meet the requirements of LC15 (doesn't show hideout and is not at least 32x32). You can get FB points for it though :)

EDIT: The voting thread for GCV is up! Please be sure to cast a vote for your favorite entries, one from Group A and one from Group B!

I'm still playing catch up in the LCC global storyline. The following story takes place before the coronation and Queen Galainir (do we have a set spelling of this? It seems to vary...) is 'revealed'. I'm just classing these as free-builds.

Previous episode here http://www.flickr.com/photos/andhe/9966917804/

It was the morning of the coronation and a stream of guests and tradesman were arriving at the castle for the big event.
At one of the trade entrance's Jaykob and his cousin Happy were unloading the barrels of wine and beer from the lenfel brewer's waggon while the brewer himself refreshed his horse.

"How exciting!" puffed Happy, lifting another barrel off the waggon, "I do hope we see the Queen!". Jaykob smiled "We would need to have an invite first!" Happy chuckled in response "Well perhaps we could sneak ourselves in!" Jaykob smiled again "I'd rather NOT end up in the royal dungeons Happy!" he replied, unloading another barrel.

Meanwhile at the other side of the entrance and baker arrived with a large cake in tow. "We bring a cake for Queen Galainir" announced the sinister looking man at the front of the group. The head guard looked at his list, "What's the name?" he asked. "Maldrake's Cakes & Bakes" the blackclad baker replied. "Nope, not on the list" responded the guard. "I urge you to look again..." answered the baker, his eyes and voice conveying a force not know to the Royal Isles... "Ah... yes... I see it now... don't know how I... missed it" blinked the guard vacantly "Please proceed...". The baker and his gruff looking pastry chefs wheeled their giant cake through the entrance and into the castle.

"Wow look at that cake Jaykob!" exclaimed Happy "those guests are in for a BIG surprise!". Jaykob glanced at the bakers as they trundled the large cake passed, "They look rather dour for bakers don't you think?". Happy passed him another barrel, a smirk crossing his face "Perhaps... they KNEAD more dough :D".

My entry to LC15

Once moderated... http://mocpages.com/moc.php/372130

Northeast of Grahnhaven, a camp has been established for resistance and refugees in the dense forests at the foot of the mountains. The campsite was originally setup as a celebratory hunting expedition in honor of the queen’s coronation, but necessity has turned it into a camp of refugee site. Henri, his father, the Loreesi Ambassador to Grahnhaven, and the Lenfel Ambassador to Grahnhaven meet to discuss plans to raid a camp of the queen’s army for supplies.

*Notes- I'm working on getting a better pic setup... in theory my picture s will get better...
