Those figs look great. Not having blue is not a big deal, especially since you didn't use red or green, which would make them feel like Loreesi or Lenfel troops. You'll notice that my character has no blue at all. I expect a lot of people will use a fair amount of brown in their Garhim troops, especially since that's a common color for hoods and capes, which are useful to keep warm with in such a cold environment.

I am liking what you have done here. The soldiers are looking very well thought out. I still like all of the different elements that you continue to use effectively for snow. I was loving the flag and horns combination. :D

Hey guys. I'm trying to finish up our regional map. Want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to provide input on the name of the capital city. Please post your suggestions HERE

Do we have a vector graphics version of our regional map?

If we haven't got one, I would like to create a vector graphics version (like the Loreos map: here) after our decisions.

What about the suggestions from the first time through? Are the ones that are not on the second version not being added? Should we repeat the ones we like?

Once all 4 regional maps have the cities and geographic landmarks labelled, we'll accept submissions for a final version, where you'll have to submit all 4 regions. More details will be released at a later time. You're certainly welcome to do whatever you want to in the meantime, just keep in mind that we're going to officially ask for final versions later, so you might just want to wait.

gurusql, feel free to re-suggest whatever you like. There were so many suggestions for so many towns the first time around that I thought it would be best to just ask for new ideas for just the capital. As someone pointed out, we also need a name for the river and lake as well.

Oh....... and Local Challenge #2 is now posted in the "Announcements" area of the first post ;)

First Global Challenge is now Posted!

You can find more information about it HERE

Needless to say, group participation is going to be VERY important. Our province gets 5 points for EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO ENTERS, so be sure to put something together for it, if you can. You'll receive 5 personal points for entering, and 10 more for winning, so this is your biggest chance for points to date. Be sure to take advantage of it!

Post a thumbnail in the entry thread, linked above, that links to your entry in the MOC forum, as we've previously done for the Local Challenge. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask in the LCC Discussion Thread.

Lastly, the Faction Roster and Leaderboard have been updated. PM me if you spot any discrepancies.

C'mon guys, there are six of you who haven't finished your CIC yet, and we need everyone's help in the first global challenge. Your CIC doesn't have to be anything too extravagent, just put something together so you can at least be able to submit an entry for the global challenge.

My entry for LC2 (Industrious Garhims)- Ice Fishing

Kroth Stonegrinder is enjoying a little ice fishing and has caught quite a collection of fish. In the wilds of Garheim, you need to always be on alert as you could be the bait as well.

Additional pictures can be found on Flickr including a peak under the ice.

I second the rally call from Eklund, we need all hands on deck for the global challenge so get those CICs in so that you can participate. We are stronger with every person that is part of this.
