After giving it some concideration, I think Elderon will be succeeding me as Lenfald FO. He's a very active member, has been here since the start, and the KC's got his back as well. Frisky, I'd love it if you wanted to help him out as replacant FL, since MG has not been very active as of recent.

I think we may as well go with a full regime change here. It wouldn't hurt my feelings any if someone took my FL position. I'm not very active these days, and I haven't done anything as far as running Lenfald goes for a while now.

Talk about your mix of happy/sad news. Thank you Lenfels for this encouragement!

Teherean, thank you for all the work you have put in. I completely understand life's challenges getting in the way, and I hope your being busy is due to success at work rather than any negatives. We appreciate your leadership, which includes the wisdom when knowing to step down due to life's crazier times.

Would love to as well, I kinda expected that choice anyway. So do we have to make that official with the KC as well? Also, just out of curiosity, how would he edit the first post for scores and such? Would the admins be able to modify it to allow him access? Lastly, you will still be doing one final score update once the GC3 results are in correct? I should now have a score of 53 and carry the rank of "Militia." (would usually PM that, but I thought I might as well slip it in since we are on the subject)

Well I must say I was a little surprised when Teherean asked me this, but it is a great honor in my eyes to lead our great faction I have indeed been with the LCC since the beginning and have put a lot of time in it. I feel it's sad that we loose one of the founding members of the Lands of Classic Castle, but I completely understand and stand by his decision.
Though it's too bad I can't compete in every Local Challenge, I look forward to hosting them. I hope you all agree with Teherean's decision, especially since I haven't been an active member of Classic Castle that long. I can say or promiss nothing other than that I will do my best representing our great faction

So there is nothing other for me to say than:

For great Lenfald!

When Elderon takes over, make sure to start EB back at zero points due to starting a new character (he'll then get 5 back for his CIC, so only a net loss of 2 points)

EB, you should provide some sort of explanation or even a MOC depicting the demise of your old character (I suppose he doesn't have to die, but maybe he goes off on a long journey or something). We just don't want a bunch of soulless former characters roaming about Roawia after they are abandoned

As for keeping the scores updated, I don't believe that there is any way to access the first post by the new FL/FO, so I'd recommend that Teherean, as his last bit of involvement, sends Elderon and Frisky all of the scoring info (hopefully he's been keeping a worksheet offline) and then replace the scores in the first post with a link to whatever page of the thread that you'll start a new scoring update.

I'm here to help as you transition. Feel free to PM me if you need any assistance/tips.

I'm working on a re-worked spreadsheet of all Lenfald members and their scores right now. Once that is done, I will send it to Elderon and Frisky via (preferably E-mail) a private message. It will be done this weekend, probably on saturday, as I'll be working on my internship for the rest of today, tomorrow and friday.

February 14th,

"I forsook my daily rounds today, and rode out early this morning towards the bay. The journey was long, but I arrived at an overlook next to the sea just as the sun began to set. As the rays of sunlight began to dip below the treeline, my heart sang as the figures of Lenfel ships came into view, bearing the flag of victory.
However, just before the sea grew dark, I spotted another ship, heading to the northeastern shore, which bore neither Garhim, nor Lenfel flags.
I will further investigate this matter tomorrow. For now, I am content to accept the peace and joy that our victory has brought us."

Murder at the Mill:



February 17th,

"Something dark now stalks the forests of Lenfald.

I went out to investigate the sudden stoppage of wood coming down the river from one of Strongborough's eastern lumber mills. What I found is a sight more gruesome I ever imagined.
Two men dead, one had been stabbed in his side and left there to bleed out. They tied the other one to the waterwheel and left him to a slow, terrible death. It looked as though there had been a third, but whether they threw his body in the river itself, or took him for a prisoner, I cannot tell.

This was not the work of any mere brigand, or even one of the Garhim. This was brutal and malicious. I fear that Lenfald has a new threat in its midst."
