Yeah the King's Council island is the one to the East. Conveniently located to all 3 of the "good" factions.
If you can make that change, as well as the capital of Loreos, I think you've got a fantastic map.

I really like that each capital's marker is a slightly different shape. That is a neat detail. The shading and logos are all terrific as well.

One thing that I realize as I look at this is that we need to make sure we have a name for the city where the King's castle / Council is located on the E. Island.
I don't believe that has been decided on yet.

Keep up the good work!

LCC Map RFC

The Keeper's Colorized Map of Roawia and its Lands and Provinces

I am having another go at the map after the weekend, so I would like to ask everyone to take a look at it and point out errors/inconsistencies either here or even better on flickr with a note at the corresponding location... I have already highlighted some errors, but I am sure I have missed something.

Here is a full resolution image of the map with more details.

I would really appreciate it if the FO/FLs could check whether all the cities and important locations are there (I have not included landmarks in the map as some regions are already very crowded, and the map would become unreadable if scaled down) and if the names match (I had a hard time reading some of the location names on the source map)

Technically, we have yet to come up with a name for the capital city where the King resides. We are open to suggestions.

Hey all you LCC'ers!!

We need a name for the capital city where the King lives so that it can be added to the final map. Any suggestions? Post them here!

Kongens or Kongensby

"Kongens" is "King" in Danish; "By" is "City". Since Lego is Danish it might be a cool homage to the brick.

I don't know whether anything has been said or defined about the geography of the island and the city, but I would suggest to name the City Lions Head, The Lion being the sigil of the King and the Council. The city's citadel could be located on a rock protruding from a cliff over the western coast of the island, facing the main continent - being watchful and all that- and looking like the head of a lion facing west - crowned with light as the sun sets in the east behind the island.

As a name for the island: maybe Kongenshom (© Josh) or Konigshall - or something completely different like Laureunacia.

Additionally, we still need names for the two inner Outlaw islands and the seas to the west and east (the seas around the capital island could be called The King's Waters or something of the sort, the waters around the Island of Lost Souls Sea of Despair).

The mountain ranges within Loreas also still need names.

Loroes Mountain range name: Majat dehur. It means "jagged peaks" in Albanian. :)

I think the King's Council Island should be named Dumnorix. It means "king of the world" in Ancient Celtic. And for the Loreesi mountain range, I think they should be named the Iura Mountains.

Do we have any news on a name for the capital and the islands... or is everyone in CCC fever?

I think the CCC has taken everything over, yeah. I do recall some discussion between the KC's members about the name of the Capital Isles... Couldn't that be a name? "the Capital Isles"?

Well, it's been a while. Since noone else has posted anything, we'll be using mitah's excellent map as the official LCC map. I recommend everyone have a look at the latest version and post their comments here.

I just noticed that the Location of the King's council is quite close to the Outlaws Magic isle. Lol!

I guess it's not a huge deal or anything. ;)

BTW, the map looks phenomenal! Great job Mitah!
