Hey guys,

I thought it would be cool for everyone to show off their special groups of soldiers or Orders of Knights that they've made for their LCC characters' stories. Outlaws can also show off their clans or bands of troops they've created. This thread is for posting and talking about "special forces", those knights or troops set apart from the rest of the army as unique. Such groups would include, but not limited to: Mark of Falworth's Order of Araeni, my Knights of Calmonn, and shmails Bear Claw Clan. Before we begin there are just a few rules:

1. One post per LCC member per clan/knight order. If you want to add more troops to a specific clan/knight order just edit your existing post.

2. All CC Forum image posting and double posting rules still apply.

3. Please start each of your posts like this:

Faction

Name of Clan/Knight Order

Description, Photos, ect.

4. Just a side note, groups of guards such as the Toberg Guard and a city/town's Royal guards are allowed, as long as, they are a separate group of troops, any other LCC troops belong in the Armies of Roawia Thread.

5. Have fun!

Faction: Loreos

Name of Clan/Knight Order: The Order of Areani

Description, Photos, ect.



The Order of Areani was founded long time ago, after King Alphundus was killed, and the three brothers split the kingdom. Prince Lorean feared the fate of his father, so he formed a special band of knights, called the Areani. These men swore to protect the prince from any danger that might threaten him. The present Order is rather numerous and wields great power within Roawia. The duties of the members are now more varied as well. and the Order's influence and power continue to expand. They field elite cohorts for the Loreesi armies, and did great service during the first and second crusades.


Standard Areani Knights
The standard outfit and equipment for the members of the Areani.
Wielding straight swords and round shields, their simplistic weapons hold a nasty surprise for those who would turn their backs on justice, and more importantly, on the Prince of Loreos.
Their armor is perfectly designed to allow full freedom of movement, meaning they can run and fight with perfect agility and ease. Their training is the best imaginable to the point where complex maneuvers are instinctive.
Whether it be the top of the highest cathedral, or the deepest darkest swamp, they know where you are.


Areani Desert Scouts
Desert scouts are the snipers, rangers, and special forces of the Order.
Wielding composite bows and a variety of curved swords, javelins, and other weapons, their more unique tactics complement perfectly the Standard Areani Knights on their various missions abroad.


Névoa Areani (Mist Areani)
A special division of the Areani that operates exclusively in the outlaw swamps and islands to the south of Loreos.
Armed with a Two-handed sword and cloaked in dark green to better camouflage in the marshes, these deadly agents of the Order do terrible damage to the enemies of the Prince.

Hitokiri



Desert nomads of which a number have been recruited into Princess Lorreaine's army.

Iron Scorpions



Former outlaws that have been defeated and recruited into the Princess' army.

Lenfald Border Skirmishers



Hunters who live close to the border with Lenfald, they often get caught up in 'arguments' about who has the right to hunt where. Princess Lorreaine has been closely monitoring this conflict. Naturally, being so close to the border, they have some of the skills and looks of Lenfels.

Apprentices



Men who pose as 'servants', but are actually being trained secretly as mages. Lorreaine has witnessed the power of magic and doesn't want to risk being defenceless against it.

The Toberg guard:

The Toberg guards is a group of elite warriors, guarding the Toberg school of warfare. Here you see the headmaster of Toberg: Benjamin Toft (the formal leader) together with Yussuf Ganerh (the daily leader). The guard consists of 40 men - enougth to defend the fortified school area. All 40 men can be equipped as both an archer, a melee footsoldier or mounted on a horse.

The Toberg guard can be recognized by their dark red and black colors.

Faction: Garheim

Name of Clan/Knight Order: The Knights of Illyria

Description: The Knights of Illyria are a elite order of knights, that were originally formed to protect the ancient city of Illyr, but the ancient city was finally destroyed by it's enemies, and the order was forced into hiding, but now, they're back.




ps. I also have a few other orders that I'm still working on so I will add those to this post later.

You probably shouldn't use a Stag shield for Garhim troops, since that emblem is an official sigil of Lenfald

The Order Knights of Ilion was established by High Lord Wensesclaus II for the purpose of gathering intelligence during times of war, keeping vigil over the borders of Lenfald, and maintaining control over the people in the vent of a riot,rebellion, or assassination . Consisting of only the most elite warriors from the Great Army of Lenfald, this mighty fighting force ensures the peace and prosperity of our great nation.


Headquarters
The headquarters of the order is located within a beautiful castle perched high in the Airgid Coronaigh Mountains and is a symbol of the great architectural skill of Lenfald.

Here are two knight orders that will feature in Valen's story in the future. Sorry for the poor quality of pictures but I am learning as I am going :-/
