There is a Forty Year Darkness in the Kingdom of Illyr. During this time the Order of Illyria goes into hiding. The area of Illyr is left a barren wasteland.

The era of Illyr is over, but a new era, and a new city are rising to take it's place. Let us only hope that this fledgling city, Hallfrost, does not make the same mistakes we have made.

The only thing I find to be a bit funny is that you basically have no known history of the first two eras (1,998 years) and then a very precise year-by-year account of the next 70 years, and then 100 years where the only significant thing that happens is that 3 kings rule for a while (despite the fact that previously all births, deaths, marriages, and other events were carefully chronicled), and then a new king is crowned (Soren II), a large battle takes place, and then 40 years of hiding. So are we now in year 41 of that hiding? I'm not really sure what year is the current year....

Not trying to be too critical, that just seems to be something that stands out. Maybe making the first period less specific would make the voids of information less pronounced.

Keep up the good work! I know stuff like this takes a lot of time and effort! :)

Well I originally wasn't going to have a known history for the first two eras, before the founding of Illyr, since I didn't deem it important at the time, but I changed my mind, and have started working on a timeline for those missing 1,998 years, and the WIP of that will be up in a month at the latest.
I'm not sure if you can tell, but I started getting bored after the first 70 years and I just wanted to be done, but now that I look at it, I'm going to flush out those years after year 70. And I'm making this timeline in three parts, so this part ends in the 3rd Era, year 116, and the next part, which is the timeline of Hallfrost will start in the 3rd Era, Year 117, and the first part which will be before all of this, is going to be the above mentioned timeline that I have started working on.
Oh and one more thing, thank you very much for giving me some much needed criticism :)
thanks
