Lego LotR: MOC-Based RPG **Coming Soon**

Postby royalbrickcustoms » Mon Mar 18, 2013 5:20 pm

Hey guys,

I am proud to announce the first ever Lego MOC-based Lord of the Rings RPG on Mocpages.

The [My] MocPages Group: "Lego LotR and Hobbit Custom Minifigures and MOCs" is starting a Lego LotR MOC-based RPG soon.

This RPG will be similar to LCC, but with a Middle Earth background.

I have divided the official LotR "Map of Middle Earth" into four regions:

Gondor-Blue border

Rohan- Green border

Realm of the Elves (Lothlorien and Lorien combined)- Gold border

Realm of Urk-Hai and Dark Forces- Dark Red border

Like LCC each realm (faction) will have an NPC leader. The leaders are as follows:

Gondor: Aragorn

Rohan: King Theoden

Elves: Legolas

Urk-Hai and Dark Forces: Lurtz

Each "Faction" will also have faction colors and sigils as well as, faction weapon(s) emblems.

The colors, sigils and weapon emblem(s) and sigils are as follows:

Gondor:

Colors (Primary/Secondary): Dark Blue/White

Official LEGO Faction Sigil(s): KKII Jayko (Dark Fortress), Blue Viking Shields

Unofficial Faction Sigil(s): White Tree of Gondor

Weapon Emblem(s): Any (official) LEGO Greatsword

Rohan:

Colors (Primary/Secondary): Green/Yellow

Official LEGO Faction Sigil(s): KKII Kentis, Rohan Shield

Unofficial Faction Sigil(s): None

Weapon Emblem(s): Either the (official) LEGO spear in brown or pearl light grey, or the new two-part "Spartan" spear.

Realm of the Elves:

Colors (Primary/Secondary): Red/Gold

Official LEGO Faction Sigil(s): KKII Santis' Bear (Dark Fortress), Red/Black Viking Shield

Unofficial Faction Sigil(s): Gold Leaf of Lorien with Red Background .

Weapon Emblem(s): Any (official) brown LEGO Longbow (except HawkEye's Bow)

Urk-Hai and Dark Forces:

Colors (Primary/Secondary): Dark Red/Any other color not already used

Official LEGO Faction Sigil(s): White Hand of Sauron, 2007 Castle Troll(s)

Unofficial Faction Sigil(s): None

Weapon Emblem(s): The (official) LEGO Troll Scimitar (any color), or the Urk-Hai Sword (any color)

If you would like to join then PM me your Mocpages name and I'll send you a group invite.

Challenges:

There will be three (3) kinds of challenges.

Regional (Local) Challenge(s):

Regional (or Local) Challenges are inter-faction challenges against members of the same faction.

Intra-Faction (Multi-Faction) Challenge(s):

Intra-Faction (Multi-Faction) Challenge(s) are challenges pit involve one or two factions against a third (usually the Urk-Hai and Dark Forces). For Example: "Rohan and Gondor vs. Urk-Hai and Dark Forces"

Global Challenges:

Global Challenges involve all faction(s) and advance the storyline of the LotR Trilogy.

If you have already joined the group just sit tight and everything should be ready to go by Friday.

Sounds really similar to LCC. Good luck running that AND staying involved with this one. Running LCC is practically a full-time job for 4 people, plus 4 FL's :twitch:

There are so many of these RPGs out there now (GoH, LCC, LoB, and now yours, among others), but I prefer to just dedicate my energies to doing one of them really well instead of being involved in several at once. I guess some of you younger builders just have a lot more free time than I do ;)

Good luck!

Well I don't exactly have a TON of free time, but I thought it would be cool to have a LotR RPG.

Do you think the Admins would give me a sub-forum to post all the Topics for this in, because it might get confusing between LCC and this, if they're both in the Stories Forum?

That would be a question for them. I doubt it though, since they didn't give LCC a sub-forum, and we've pretty much taken over this one (it was previously hardly used and now is one of the busiest sub-forums of CC!) :)

Why are you asking that we delete this now?
