Re: LCC-GC4 And so it begins...
Are we allowed to ask the original creator of our mission's structure for alternate views or more detailed pictures or can we only use the image provided in the link we recieved from our FO?
Also just curious, was anyone assigned my fortification yet? Just wondering.

You can certainly ask for more pictures if needed. Don't be surprised if they've already disassembled it though!
As for what structures have been assigned, we can't give that info out to everyone. We have a list of 60 builds that we are randomly choosing from, so it's likely that they won't all be assigned.

Can we create a that may is not pictured in our mission's structure, as long as it is similar in design and/or style to the structures pictured in the original mission structure?

I think you have a typo, but if I'm interpreting correctly, yes, you can expand on what is shown in your assigned MOC. Just try to make sure that the end result has some resemblance to the original. It should be obvious that it is the same location, done with your own twists as a result of your personal style.

Scrolled through the posts and I don't think this has been stated yet. Supposing I was given Arrowford Harbour (built by Thomas Arrowford) as my mission. If I were to assault it, are there any limitations on what I can/can't do? Can I completely lay waste to it, or am I limited in the amount of carnage I'm allowed to show?
Also, if we get permission from other LCCers, are we allowed to include them in our builds?

Does this mean that we can't show who is winning?AK_Brickster wrote:
You need not show who is winning/losing, simply show it being attacked or defended.

I guess the point of that was that we don't necessarily want all of Roawia reduced to rubble after one round of skirmishes. By simply showing troops engaging one another, it leaves the door open to move the storyline along in any direction needed once the next stage is figured out.
By all means, show catapults damaging walls and enemies being killed, but avoid completely burning your target to rubble or slaughtering any and all who oppose you.
EDIT: As for including other LCC'ers, you can do that, with permission. Keep in mind that most of the active participants will be off defending/attacking other outposts, so they might not be able to be in two places at once. That said, an unofficial cameo probably would be fun (with permission)

WHAT! So, this is what you talk about when I'm asleep.
(In best AK Brickster-like impersonation) No. Instead you must show your troops wasting their lives in hopelessly over optimistic assault.
Seriously though, are you sure you won't just come in for a cup of tea instead?

Haha, don't worry. That was completely hypothetical. I haven't even received my assignment yet.Thomas Arrowford wrote:Seriously though, are you sure you won't just come in for a cup of tea instead?
Trying to build Arrowford harbour would be a nightmare for me, considering my enormous lack of tan bricks. xD

Are we allowed to show our armies looting spoil from the enemy structure?

Leave it to a Loreesi to ask this question...royalbrickcustoms wrote:Are we allowed to show our armies looting spoil from the enemy structure?
Meanwhile we Lenfels are more concerned with doing justice on the "assassin faction".

I second all of the above!digger1221 wrote:Very nice work on those builds and pics KC! And interesting challenge...can't wait to see what comes out of this one...
IMO the fourth place prize should be something purist...maybe a CMF or something...personally, the custom prizes aren't a great incentive.
