The story for this is quite long, and it can be read on either flickr or the topic in the Classic Castle MOC section. The link to the flickr set is embedded in the photo and I highly recommend viewing the whole set. Thanks!

Captain Song was sent to help out an outpost of Orevale, but when he got there, he found the Illyrian knights, and northern rangers that he had sent there, had already taken care of it.

The goal was to put the Hill back in Havenhill!

Assault on Havenhill by THEDONALD13, on Flickr

Lord Stout knew a direct assault on the keep would lose him a generation of men, even at partial strength it was formidable stronghold. He decided that a less direct approach would gain him the stronghold at Havenhill

Based off of gurusql's leaving Havehill MoC - http://www.flickr.com/photos/40798201@N05/7303301540/

Developing story and assault to follow!
Sorry guys! I ran out of time and I wanted to get something up for the challenge. Now (5/21/13) I am having a tought time uplaoding and changing things via my Flicker account!

I woke up with imprints of lego in my skull.
Don't need to tell I didn't meet the deadline.
The build will be uploaded as a freebuild soon.

Because we are benevolent dictators....

and because we don't want to see a lot of hard work go to waste, we are extending the deadline until Tuesday for those of you who have a few finishing touches to make or photos to take. This is NOT an extension for those of you (like myself  ) who haven't started on your entries yet or still have a lot to do. If that is you, please take your time finishing your entry and submit it as a free build after Tuesday.
We just wanted to make sure that the people who are more or less finished but had busy weekends with other commitments in real life were able to get their entries in. After all, while there is certainly some friendly competition going on between factions, we deliberately call these "challenges" instead of "contests" because the emphasis is on inspiring and challenging you to build something amazing, not on dropping the hammer on a rival because their entry is a day late. 8)

Great job, everyone. This has been my favorite GC so far. It was really fun to see everyone's interpretations of each other's MOCs. We even had someone featured on The Brother's Brick! (Congrats K. Kreations! EDIT: AND, congrats to Rifiröfi as well!)
K. Kreations on TBB
Rifiröfi on TBB

I think that it would be neat if, once the four finalists are chosen, someone volunteered to put a collage together showing the original four MOCs and the four "redux" finalists side-by-side for us to send in to TBB to see if they'll feature it again. It's time that a few more castle building challenges started to be featured more often instead of all of these sci-fi groups-of-the-month that everyone seems so obsessed with lately ;)

I should add, if you've already taken pictures of your entries and posted in them this thread, please DO NOT create a new post with your "final" pictures if you need to do any tweaking through Tuesday. Just go back and edit your original entry posting.

Thanks.

Awesome & Congrats to Kyle and Rifiröfi (Wolfgang)! :

I totally agree...its kind of annoying to see Sci-fi and military stuff getting all the creds these days...we need more CASTLE!!!
