Awesome entries everyone! :)

So is GC4 officially over?

Should we PM our FOs about GC4 voting?

The submission deadline has officially passed. Stand by to hear from your FOs regarding determining faction finalists.

Great job, everyone!!

Alright thanks for the update AK.

Hey can you post the entry count for each faction in your first post of this thread (like you did for GC3)?

It would be nice to see how many people (from each faction) participated.

AK_Brickster wrote:Great job, everyone. This has been my favorite GC so far. It was really fun to see everyone's interpretations of each other's MOCs. We even had someone featured on The Brother's Brick! (Congrats K. Kreations! EDIT: AND, congrats to Rifiröfi as well!)

Thank you guys! This GC was great, it is much more fun than a faction-intern local challenge!
AK_Brickster wrote:I think that it would be neat if, once the four finalists are chosen, someone volunteered to put a collage together showing the original four MOCs and the four "redux" finalists side-by-side for us to send in to TBB to see if they'll feature it again. It's time that a few more castle building challenges started to be featured more often instead of all of these sci-fi groups-of-the-month that everyone seems so obsessed with lately ;)
If no one volunteered so far then I could do that!

Cheers

I was actually thinking of making some sort of a 'tapestry of Bayeux'-style drawing depicting the war and the main events. It won't be Lego and it will take quite some time, but I can give it a shot!

The list of GC4 entries has been added to the end of the 2nd post in this topic. FO's should start to collect votes and have a winner determined by next Friday.

Friskywhiskers will handle collecting votes for Lenfald.

I think it would be a good idea to establish an official timeline of the events during this war, so nobody can shift the blame afterwards on who was responsible for what and who won wich battle... And as the winner writes history, I guess the winning faction could dictate the'official' version.

I agree/In that case...it should be up to the winning FO to place events then. This way is has more official sway.

I believe we are just waiting for the finalist from the Outlaws to be chosen. I'm not surprised that it's taking them a while to decide, they had a few really terrific entries, that both made it to TBB, and a third one that didn't quite make the deadline was just featured on there as well! Great job, Outlaws!
