You need not show who is winning/losing, simply show it being attacked or defended.

By all means, show catapults damaging walls and enemies being killed, but avoid completely burning your target to rubble or slaughtering any and all who oppose you.

IMO the fourth place prize should be something purist...maybe a CMF or something...personally, the custom prizes aren't a great incentive.
