My men rowed as quietly as they could. The soft splash of the oars, and the low whispers of my men drifted over the water. The boats hugged the island as we neared the landing point.

My unit was sent to take the Lenfel fortress, Castle Bladefall; no easy task. But, my scouts had sent word that the army of Bladefall had left to attack a Loreesi town, a couple miles away from Bladefall. The plan was to set off by boat a few miles away and avoid the Lenfel scouts. Then my men would smash the door open, storm inside, and take out anyone left. When the Lenfel army returned, weary from fighting, they would have to fight their own defenses.

What we didn't know, was that a Lenfald general had hired some mercenaries ("Not outlaws" he had said to himself) to defend it while he was gone. Of course, he didn't trust them enough to let them in the castle, and had told the few men he was leaving behind to light the beacon at first sign of trouble. Another thing we didn't know. With the sudden outbreak of war, the Lenfels had put a beacon on top of this tower, to alert others of fighting, and hopefully to bring reinforcements.

Before we were within a hundred yards of the beach, we saw the beacon burst into flames, lighting up the already bright sky.
"They've seen us! ROW! ROW!
FOR THE GLORY OF LOREOS!"

Here is my entry into the GC4

Just curious, was anyone assigned an interior build (ie. one of Bentoft's many Toberg rooms, ect.)?

Also, has anyone heard from Elderon (Lenfald's FO), because he hasn't been on classic-castle in almost a month.

Nope, haven't heard a word. I suppose Frisky (our FL) will have to organise the vote counting if Elderon doesn't show up.

Yes, his unresponsiveness is getting to be a tad annoying especially in this time when we need him most. I will talk with the other FOs to see how I should do it, assuming that he remains off line.

I agree!

Seems like Lenfald has been having FO problems recently (first Teheran steps down, and now Elderon is unresponsive) seems strange.

Besides, I want to see bigger pictures of the GC4 Intro (build).

Rather than being annoyed at Elderon's inactivity, we should probably be concerned for his well-being. It's not typical for someone to go on a month long leave of absence with no warning. Finding a computer or cell phone to make a quick post isn't hard these days...
Regardless, we definitely need to have Frisky tally up the votes if he doesn't show up soon. And should probably consider getting another FO.

Also, I'm working hard to finish up my GC4 build in time for Sunday's deadline, but the past two weeks I've been extremely busy helping move another family member out of his house and into his apartment. Most of my weekend is being spent on the road and packing/unpacking. The build is almost done, so I'm not asking for an extension yet, but in the event that I can't finish it in time, could a 2-3 day extension be considered?

You are the second person to voice concern about finishing up in time. Do your best to make the deadline please, and if you find that you cannot, we can broach the subject at that time. If anyone has an objection to a 2 day deadline extension if it is needed for these members, please PM me prior to Sunday evening.
