Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Schmidt was brave until the very end. There was prior planning to all this, but I don't want to spoil it all and i'm sure the KC would like to keep some secrets. It's probably best to leave you wondering
I have been given approval to make a new character as an outlaw.
If you can't beat them and they kill you, might as well join them, I say!
Schmidt certainly had a fun time in Lenfald, but there will be a MOC dedicated to his passing in the next few days.
In the mean time, ya'll better be looking for ways to escape

It seems as if the outlaws may now in fact be the only 'lawful' folk.ZacharyIslazy wrote:Ah ok. So if part of GCV entails members working together to escape, looks like certain Outlaw skills will come in handy .
As a side note, this turn of events makes the forest ambush sets an even better buy.
I was wondering why you were looking for dragon knights in the trade thread.SSchmidt wrote:I have been given approval to make a new character as an outlaw.

Any direct assaults will result in severe harm to innocent lives. It's not unreasonable to think that this could affect your personal status situation... hint hint.
I suggest waiting until the details of GC 5 come out before deciding on a course of action.
(Not to mention its pretty dang difficult to perform a cavalry charge against an island fortress. This ain't no sand castle, folks!)

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
I knew something like this would happen...
I do have a question though. I never officially signed up for the feast, yet it looks like my character, Leif, was still included in the story and build. I'm assuming he got locked up?

That's my bad. I think I got the Brickcon photoshoot jumbled up with the banquet when building figs. I thought you had signed up and had your fig on the desk, so I included him. I'll let you decide what you'd like to do.

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
I haven't been paying enough attention! The queen sounded nice enough...
Even though; I grew very suspicious when it said that you couldn't take any weapons. I guess that I have watched Braveheart too many times....
So that's why my character didn't attend the coronation.
And it just so happens that I have a finished MOC and a MOC that needs scenery that will work perfectly with this change of events! So those should be posted soon.
P.S. Excellent story and MOCs guys!!!

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
Interesting story development. I'm a tad disappointed that my fig didn't make it into the bunch though
Also, ITOTALLYCALLEDIT.jpg
Edit: Just noticed all the photo's are private, so I can't view them on Flickr in all their large-size glory. Will that be changed?

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
Great story guys, though not a totally unexpected twist, the story and MOCs were a great implementation of it. Highlights for me were the individual character references, schmidts heroic death (R.I.P) and the combo on that wizard!
Did my character slip out half way through the feast? I think I can see his hair in the first lineup but he doesn't seem to be enjoying the festivities! Perhaps he popped to the bathroom?

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"
Excellent! A twist M. Night Shyamalan would be proud of! (though I can say I told'ja so ) I thought I heard "the Rains of Castamere" during the feast
Captivating story and an amazing build! I can't say Cedric wouldn't have gotten too drunk to fight back (sorry for tripping over you, Schmidt) I can't wait for the GC5! I guess all Cedric can do now is sleep off the feast, but Amura's not going to like "her" sword disappearing with him
Great job, guys!

Mind. Blown.AK_Brickster wrote:Still trying to totally grasp what had happened, they stumbled out, passing Schmidt’s now lifeless body, a reminder that any resistance was futile.
Totally proud someone was willing to off their character, though. Definitely a bold move.
Fantastic story, as well. I think a lot of people were still reluctant to believe Galainir had nothing but good intentions, but were trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. So much for that now! And, having all the people who mocked up a character to attend or their main ones as captives through the next Global Challenge? Ingenious!
As a very entertained spectator, I cannot wait to see what unfolds in the next challenge. Good work, gents.

Hey William Navarre is no DRINKER! Tell the new queen I'm her friend and fellow outlaw? Not some dumb lenfald !AK_Brickster wrote:If you signed up, you - or whoever you sent to represent you- is captured, even if your fig didn't get built.
(Schmidt being the obvious exception. Sorry, Schmitty!)

That's Lenfel to you, Outlaw scum.
I'm very curious to see what will come of the disguised Outlaws. Obviously they're locked up, so will other Outlaws try to help them? Will they be released to wreak havoc on Roawia in the new order? Will the Queen just forget about them, causing unrest in her Outlaw allies? It's going to be interesting, that's for sure.
