Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

The results of the GC VI voting are tallied, and the results presented below...

The voting for this Global Challenge was some of the fiercest yet! Under the new voting and scoring system, performing well in all three categories was critical for success, and two factions did very well in this regard!

We had a really great turnout, with 58 members casting 174 votes for a total of 348 voting points! Great job, everyone!

And now, the results....

VIGNETTE (votes = 1x points)

Fourth Place, with 3 votes (3 points)- Loreos
Third Place, with 5 votes (5 points) - Outlaws
Second Place, with 19 votes (19 points) - Garheim
First Place, with 31 votes (31 points) - Lenfald - Vignette Champion is Sergeant Chipmunk!

RESTRICTED (votes = 2x points)
Fourth Place, with 4 votes (8 points) - Loreos
Third Place, with 6 votes (12 points) - Outlaws
Second Place, with 12 votes (24 points) - Garheim
First Place, with 36 votes (72 points) - Lenfald - Restricted Champion is Sir Caelan!

Points tally through two rounds:
Loreos: 11 points
Outlaws: 17 points
Garheim: 43 points
Lenfald: 103 points

With one category to go, and Lenfald out to a big lead, what would be the outcome?

Would one of the other factions take advantage of the triple points for the final category to surge forward and reclaim the lead and overall Global Challenge title?

Or would Lenfald hang on and bring home the victory??

Final results........

Oooh, that's just cruel, AK. Huge props to Sargent Chipmunk and Caelan for their domination of their respective categories.

Honestly though, I think this is still anyone's contest. With the way the voting is set up, a sweep by any faction could easily result in a huge score of points.
Regardless of the results, I'm proud of all the citizens of Roawia who stepped up and entered and voted in this contest, and I'm especially proud of my two fellow Lenfels for their strong performance in the first two categories. Here's hoping Soccerkid will join you!

Edit: Revised my post to account for mathematical error.

AK, I've waited all day long for the results, and while it's wonderful to know that I've chalked up a 3rd GC win...why would you make us wait for the overall winner!?!?
It's cruelty on par with the Queen herself!! :orc: Hope Soccerkid gets the gold!

I don't think it is going to be a sweep. I actually think Garheim is going to rally together and win the 3rd vote. Of course, I have no idea what happens, these are just personal thoughts.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! You are bad AK!

I read through your post line by line and coming to the end I was like which dash will it be........ and then, oh yeah, they will be announced tomorrow!
What a disappointment! It seems that there was excellent participation in the voting, great job so far to each faction!
