LCC is MOVING!

Post by AK_Brickster »

ATTENTION ALL DENIZENS OF ROAWIA!

For those who don't know, after much discussion and consideration, we've decided to relocate LCC to a new host site, http://www.merlins-beard.com!
(Don't worry, all of your points and guild builds will be transferred over)

This new site will allow us to more freely administer and organize the roleplay, and we are excited about some of the possibilities of our new home!

Please do not post any additional builds for points in your faction threads, or the guild hall. The LCC staff will be working on updating the scores and making the transition over to the new site in the next few days.

Here is a link to the new site's terms and conditions (please read before registering): http://merlins-beard.com/thread/9/forum ... ms-service

Here is a link to the new sub-forum: http://merlins-beard.com/board/8/lands-roawia

As you can imagine, we also will be changing the name (temporarily it is "Lands of Roawia") to coincide with the new site. Please nominate and/or vote for your favorite suggestions HERE

The next Global Challenge, "GCVII - The Rebellion Strikes Back" will be posted later today, so be sure to hurry up and register at the new forum so that you don't miss a single moment of the story development! This GC will feature a twist that is so dramatic, we guarantee you'll be shocked!

(CC admins, we will be requesting threads be locked as we complete our updates. Thank you for your support)

Also, if you'd like, you may "re-enlist" in the sign-up thread on the new site with your same character (no switching factions) so that newcomers can learn about each of the existing characters by reading their CIC's.

The new sign-up thread can be found here: http://merlins-beard.com/thread/8/lor-sign-thread

"The Rebellion Strikes Back" I think there's a movie title in there somewhere :roflol: Can't wait for the twist...maybe the Queen has really been dead all this time, and we all wake up and it was just a bad dream?

This is a great move, I like the new website very much, and I hope everyone makes the transition over.

I already have an account over there. I'm so totally pumped for GCVII!! Maybe Maldrake has actually enslaved the faction leaders and they will be fighting against their own troops. Or maybe a giant army from a different land will invade Roawia. Whatever it is, I can't wait another second!!!

Awesome work so far you guys! I love the new website and am glad to make the transfer.
I think we should say a huge Thank-You to Classic-Castle for allowing the LCC to grow and mature under its leadership. Now were big enough for our own site! :)
By the way, this new GC development sounds really exciting! But what will be next? Cant Wait!

Well, this is a happy and sad moment. As most of my time on classic-castle is spend on LCC, it will lessen now, but hopefully not to much. :)

Like Valiant said, thank you to the admins of Classic-Castle for "allowing LCC to grow and mature under" your leadership! It has become very well known, and fantastic! :D

Looking forward to the next GC!

While this is a very exciting to me, it's also disappointing as well. I think it's great the LCC has the opportunity to move to their own website, it's just going to make it so much harder. I barely have time to check all of the sites I regularly visit now, so adding another to the plate isn't going to make things any easier. It'll be a tough choice to decide, CC is by far my favorite site (and it always has been), and it was so easy to keep up with the LCC because I check on here so often. We'll see how things work out though. Out of curiosity, why are we changing the name? :)

Well, it doesn't really make sense to call it "Lands of Classic Castle" if the "Classic Castle" part is no longer relevant ;)

Classic-Castle knows how much we appreciate them. If it wasn't for them, we would have never had the platform to start this fun game. We have simply grown too big, and need a little room to maneuver. We have that now with the new location.

Thanks classic-castle, for your support over the past two years. We'll all be back checking in as we always do.

Thanks to everyone on Classic-castle, especially the staff, for giving us an awesome time over the last couple of years. We have to move, but this will always be fondly remembered as the LCC's starting point.

As for the GCVII, I can't wait to start building! :D

as Justin M said, time is an issue here, though for me it is not a hard choice to make: Classic-Castle any time!

I have not build as many as I would have wanted to build for LCC but it was fun nonetheless.

In a way the LCC has put some restrictions on my builds lately having to build in a certain colourscheme and with specified characters and for me that has had it's effect on the numbers of my builds.

I'd like to thank the originators and the current admins of LCC for the organisation and I wish you all godspeed on the new forum.

Hey guys,

In order to avoid confusion, I'm locking the main LCC, now LOR, threads. I'd like to remind everyone, that whether you participate in roleplay in the Lands or Rowia on Merlins-Beard, or the Guilds of Historica on Eurobricks, you are very welcome and encouraged to post your creations in the CC Castle MOCs thread, to get comments and feedback from castle builders who may not be involved in those discussions.
