I know it is still in it's beginning stages, but I have not seen any updates or posts sense I joined. What is happening? Is everyone gone? Have people lost interest? The game has something going for it and we the pbb users/gamers need to support every game that someone feels they need to go out of their way to make cool websites for. I want to see what lego codex's are like, and my idea for the lizardmen I would like to see put into its own codex. (I will work on that if need be, infact, I will just work on that...). So people of Classic-Castle, if you have not joined or at least visited Brik Battles. Please drop by, I think this game needs everyone that it can get to help.

BrikBattles!

Amen brother!
As for the status of Brik Battles, it is very much alive. Right now I am focusing mainly on the Faction development. Things are rolling along, but since there has not been much voiced interest from the community, I have been soloing the development. (A big thank you to Red Bean who has been active in graphic development)
Thrall, when you first posted your lizzard men, my first thought was that they would be awesome for BrikBattles! If you would be interested in bringing them in, that would be awesome.
Just a note, the rules have changed dramaticly from those posted on the site. I have just been waiting to refine them for posting.
Anyone who is interested in BrikBattles, feel free to email me @ ramus@brikbattles.com and I can share what I have to date. The biggiest need is for people to actually play a game or two and give some feedback. (You can only play yourself so many times )I have been keeping my eye on the "WARHAMMER?" thread & it looks like there are some potentials there.
My main goal for making BrikBattles is:
1) Making it fun, detailed and playable while still keeping it fairly simple for everyone to play (Warhammer & Warhammer 40K are just a little too "deep" for some people)
2) Taking a serious and structured approach to the wargame (Brikwars annoys me too)
3) Making a game that is expandable and everchanging. I a excited for poeple to take their MOC's and make them into BrikBattles playable items) Especially warmachines and custom figures.
Thanks for your support Thrall.

Ok, I was wondering where you placed your game in regards to brikwars and warhammer, somewhere in between...
But that still doesnt answer my question as to why there have been no posts for awhile from anyone.
Good to know that you are still working on it Ramus, and thank you for thinking that the lizardmen would be cool.

I actually did run past that site a while back. Crappy the names are so similar. I suppose great minds think alike
BrikBattles is much different from the link you posted there. It follows more the play style of Warhammer or similar. Although, the orginal rules (the ones posted on the website) are closer in concept to the link you gave.
I also have the site linked on my site.
