The Great Ball in Orion
Gentlemen of the Roleplay,
As you are all likely aware, the Great Ball in Orion, hosted by his Imperial Majesty, Constantius VII, is due to begin in a week's time, on July 11th.
This is a huge, all-RPers invited, event. As a result, there will be a few specific ground rules being laid down, pertaining to the Ball. Anything not in the Ball can disregard them.
Mainly, these rules have to do with the timing of posts. I am breaking down the Ball into four major breaks, as follows:
The Great Trade Fair
The Parade
The Banquet
The Ball, proper,
The Fireworks
The rule here to remember is that I will be opening each piece of the festivities with a post featuring the Emperor. The Great Trade Fair, which actually begins early, will likely be opened this Friday or Saturday. The Parade will be begun on Monday.
Once I have posted the opening post, all posts pertaining to that section of the Ball may begin. Any posts pertaining to the later events, if posted before me, will be deleted/removed.
I hope that everyone has no issues with that. I look forward to starting the fun this Friday.
GO CALGARY STAMPEDE!!!
Er... Never mind that bit of local colour...
Back to the business: Get those characters to Orion, and have them ready to go. Cya there!

Yes, O Mighty One, Emperor of All.
Heh. Methinks the recent posting 'soft patch' is due to the fact that all the characters that are going to go have already arrived in Orion. Summer vacations doesn't help either.Formendacil wrote:Get those characters to Orion, and have them ready to go.
Cya in Orion!

Guys, for some reason, I have typed all my Solesstorn posts on the "S" part of the grid, the KK2 lands, even though he is currently in the KK1 lands! I can't edit my posts in the topic (it's locked) but I was wondering, could one of you awesome mods edit all my Solessestorn posts, so that the grid is P-20, in the KK1 lands? Thanks!

Better check in a while to make sure I got them all...
EDIT: I changed all the "S"s to "P"s, but I forgot to change the numbers. Looking at the map, though, P-19 looks more like KK1 land than P-2

Hey all,
I have come to say that for the time being I’m done with the RP. I just can’t get in to writing anymore and I really don’t want this to become something forced. I’m probably not going away indefinitely, just till I can get myself out of this slump. I’ll check in once in awhile just to see how things are going but you wont see me posting very much(if at all) anymore. Feel free (if the situation should allow) to use any of my characters any way you guy find best; just think of them as NPCs.
And so with that, this Dragoman is sighing off.

I'm sorry to hear this, Dragoman. The Shadow Knights will miss you!Dragoman wrote:Hey all,

But I'm glad you will continue to read the CCRP. This weeks certainly has experianced what I like to call a writing 'soft patch'. Eight days and only seven posts!
However, I think this will all change when the Ball starts up. On that related note, why don't you just pop Charles into the Ball and see what happens? He might get an adventure of his own!
I look forward to your return, and may it be sooner than later!

And on a related note, I am pleased to announce that the first of the Ball-related events has now begun, the great Trade Fair. This will run concurrently with the rest of the Ball, so if you have any characters that are not attending the Ball proper, you can have them goofing off at the Fair for as long as the Ball goes on.Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote:I'm sorry to hear this, Dragoman. Look for the opening of the festivities proper on Monday, with the Imperial Parade.

Oh, I know what's it's like. There have been times when I've felt bored with the RP. So don't feel alone. We're going through something of a lapse in activity at the moment. I'm guessing it's because no-one has much to do; just wait for the ball and dinner to start. However, I will hope for your return. Take care now.Dragoman wrote:Hey all,

Well that sucks. Cya round Dragoman, I know it's hard to write sometimes I've gone through it too. Sometimes you just have to get away from it for a few weeks.(or more) I've had my boring days and exciting days, hopefully there will be alot more at the Ball. I rather liked your little Shadow Knight Adventure, hope you come back someday!Dragoman wrote:Hey all,

Can Venvorskar change into a prince, or somebody important, and come to the ball? I think it is too late.

As Formendacil was saying people can sneak in, find an invitation or something else like that.So Venvorskar can stay the way he is. Check with someone on that but I think I'm right.venvorskar wrote:Can Venvorskar change into a prince, or somebody important, and come to the ball? I think it is too late.

This is correct. Since Venvorskar has been posted about, and has been referenced to in other posts, it is too late to change him that majorly.TheOrk wrote:As Formendacil was saying people can sneak in, find an invitation or something else like that.So Venvorskar can stay the way he is. But that should not be an impediment to getting him to the Ball, if you want him there. The Ball is not only for princes, etc. Be original!
