This is it, thought Bjarn, It is time for battle.

Bjarn signaled to Willem and Drakko who located statigically at the stern and bow of the Shadow; they signaled back with a sound. They dared not make at sound, they were so close to the Hornet they could here the pirates on the deck, but a thick fog obscued vision. It was blessing and a curse. There is no way Willem could fire that balista with nothing to aim at. Bjarn thought, We'd have to be right on top of them to -- MEGABLOCKS!!

Suddenly the menacing Hornet loomed out of no where, the grusome figurehead snarling in a grimace. Drakko swung the Shadow around too late, both ships collided and the sound off wrenching wood filled the air. The entire mizzen mast and figurehead of the Hornet was torn away and crashed into the water, while a long gash was etched in the Shadow's port side.

Bjarn snatched his pile of arrows, lit them, and began firing them at the bewildured pirates. Drakko locked the rudder in place and dropped the anchor, but not until the Shadow had drifted enough for Willem Blackcloak to shoot away the Hornet's rudder with the balista.

The Shadow was wounded, but she stayed afloat as her meager crew battled with the pirates.

A spear flew right past Graygon, impaling the Crusader next to him. Graygon thought he was not ready for this. At least there was better odds for the fight. Pulling his sword he began to approach this new found friendly stranger. The Crusaders watch as he began to approach the crazed man who was taking on four of their own in close combat. As two of them were waiting for their chance to battle they each received a slash opening their backs wide and dropping them to the deck.

Barbod caught a glimpse of the man approaching him. As he dropped another Crusader he saw the man drop two Crusaders himself and a small feeling of relief came to mind. Barbod thought maybe things are going to work out after all. The two men are now side by side. Ten Crusaders have been dropped with the rest approaching slowing. Graygon introduced himself to the stranger and asked him if he was a friend of Lord Willem. The stranger responded with his name and the fact that he is with Willem.

As the greeting were made a group of Crusaders approached bows drawn. A smile came across the face of Graygon. Barbod looked a bit confused, and figured this man is just as crazy as him. He also wondered why he was on a Crusader ship that was chasing him, but those thoughts would have to be answered later. The Crusader's pulled back on their bows and at that moment they were all left weapon less as the bows all snapped.

With this the battle had turned for the two outcasts. The two charged at the group of Crusaders, weapons drawn, with only the thought of dismembered Crusaders on their minds....

Burtrand was mad with rage. His treasure had been snatched from around his neck, his ship was on fire, and he was stuck fast to another ship. On top of all this two scoundrels were aboard the Hornet and killing his men. He yelled to his men to get them together, but chaos prevailed and his cries were lost in the tumult of battle.

Burt spotted Sydney, his first mate and made his way to him, skirting the flames.

"It don't look good, sir!" Sydney yelled to him.

"Aye," acknowledged Burtrand, "but we need to get a boarding party together, this ship won't do us anymore good."

"Yes, cap'n, but the two lubbers with the swords are cuttin' up all our men."

"Then we'll go together."

"Aye sir."

The two pirates went accross the main deck, letting the other pirates fight the two enraged men. Sydney procured a grappling hook, snagged the rigging of the other ship, and the two of them swung across. They landed on the deck with a thud and met face to face with an old man clutching a fist full of arrows.

"Hello, gentlemen," The old man said. The pirates noticed the Forestmen sheild at his feet.

Before either party could say anymore, however, the Rose Marie loomed up out of the fog and collided with the other side of the Hornet.

The men had not even begun to see chaos.

The Hornet was dieing. Trapped between the Rose Marie and the Shadow, it was being ground to splinters. Water poured into the rifts etched by the ghostly Rose Marie and filled the bulkheads, slowly pulling the pirate ship into the deeps.

Rose Marie's collide reverberated through all three ships, throwing Bjarn, Smyth and Burtrand off their feet. Instantly Bjarn recovered and snatched for the nearest weapon - a hatchet. He grabbed it and threw at the snarling Smyth. The spinning weapon took a sizable chunk out of Sydney's arm before it flew overboard. Before Bjarn could grab another weapon the pirate Captain sliced him across the chest and kicked Bjarn backwards. "You'll pay for burning my ship!!" Burtrand snarled.

"I'd suggest you not, Burtrand" Willem said cooly, one dagger trained at Burtrand's head. "I somehow doubt you'd get very far..."

As Graygon and Barbod charged the running archers, one of the near dead Crusaders grabbed Barbod by the foot. Barbod's anger grew, crushing the man's head with his free foot a smile came to his face, till the sounds of screams broke the joyous thoughts from his mind. Barbod looked ahead a saw one archer with a sword through his back, while another had his face shattered by Graygon's shield. A loud yell came from above, as Graygon looked up he only had enough time to jump back as a Crusader swiped at him with an axe. The Crusader had fire in his eyes from see many friends killed already today, he was taking out all his anger on Graygon. As the Crusader was striking he caught Graygon's shoulder, a minor hit, but enough to slow Graygon down. Barbod saw that, and as the Crusader went for a final blow a spear, thrown with such force it impaled the Crusader to the cabin behind him. Graygon took a second to catch his breath, but knew that the battle was far from over. Barbod ask Graygon as he helped him to his feet, "How's the shoulder?" Not too bad Graygon responded, but I will have to wait."

With that Graygon grabbed his sword and shield, and approached the stairs to the upper part of the ship. Barbod was right behind him, both ready for what was to come. When out from behind some crates ran a group of Crusaders, "They seam to have a death wish." Barbod shouted as he pushed along side Graygon to dive his spear deep in the lead Crusader. Graygon advanced right behind Barbod, sword in hand. With all the forward advancing across the ship, the Crusaders had managed to come up behind the two outcast, now surrounded still out numbered the battle came to a standstill, till the captain approached. Anger ran across his face, his sword in hand, he approached the two men. "How can two rogue pieces of filth cause so much trouble?" The captain said, and without any hesitation Barbod said "I am the Bull king, and the filth you refer to is going to whip the deck with the rest of you!" The look of shock that ran across the face of the captain did not last long, as Barbod's spear scored him deep in the stomach, and a big grim came across Barbod's face. As the remaining Crusaders looked on as their captain fell, Barbod grabbed the captain's sword and went in to a frenzy.

Reno and Aros were wiping the floor with the pirates, "Dance on there graves!! friend!!" Reno shouted to Aros, as he rememberd what Barbod had said, the first time they met. "HaHa thats a new one!" Aros shouted, Reno thoght back to the time when he and Barbod had met, thats exactly what he, Reno had said, he must be his brother. i will talk to him at the end of the battle, if im still alive.... Reno felled another pirate. Now,The Hornet was the main battle ground, as Falcons and crusaders were now swarming the deck. "Traitor!!!!" the falcon captain shouted pointing to Drakko, who was locked in combat with 2 pirates. The captain ran towards Drakko, three knights accompanying him. 3 arrows took down one of the knights, the arrows from Bjarns bow. 2 pirates challenged the other 2 knights. Now only the captain remained, Reno could not provide support, as he was still in combat with a group of pirates. The two falcons locked swords and continued to battle each other.

Barbod was in a mad frenzy slashing a sword at the crusaders killing all but one. THe man who Reno gathered to be Graygon easily dispatched the remaining crusader. The two men jumped onto the hornet, weapons at the ready. They ammediatley joined in the battle.

Alex was running around, killing falcons left and right, but then he heard the familiar voice of Aros, and rushed over to find pirates surrounding Aros and another man, Alex jumped into the fray. He wondered if what the pirates and falcons and crusaders were doing was right.

Bjarn was standing on the other side of the deck from Reno Burtrand standing in front of him, Willem had a knife at his neck. Smyth jumped to his feet and leaped at Willem, the two men collided, Willems knife rolled across the deck and fell into the sea, willem laid on the floor. Burtrand stood and pulled his cutlass from his sheath, Blood was now pouring from Smyths arm, but smyth agin did what he did to willem and jumped, fearless, at Bjarn. But then Willem stood, and not having a weapon, flung his arms at Smyth hitting him sqaurly in the jaw.

Where was Barbod?
"i have always wanted to use one of these!!" Barbod shouted, he was standing with the Ballista directed at the Hornet, 5 Bolts from the ballista imbeded there self in the deck of the Hornet, the Hornet shuddered, and everybody on the deck was thrown in every direction. Bjarn rolled down the deck and collided with some crates. Smyth and Willem, as they were already on the floor, were not moved very far. Burtrand did not fall to the floor, due to the shudder, but tripped and fell into the group of pirates. The Falcon captain fell to the floor and Drakko landed on top of the Captain, but his sword was outstretched when he fell and, Drakko impaled the captain with his sword, killing him instantly. Reno, Aros and Alex, fell onto the deck but quickly got up and faced the pursuing pirates. Reno felt a sharp pain in his leg, but bravly continued fighting.

"MEGABLOCKS!!!" Barbod shoted, and he then realized what he had done and he rushed into the battle, which was now entering its last stages, as the numbers were dieing down, but it was not over yet....

Location: Crusaders port

'So, they've left to sea' Faolan muttered to himself, looking off to the endless ocean. 'it will be only a temporary setback.'
The assassin wandered the port, keeping an eye out for a ship he could "borrow". He came across a small trading vessel, just finished being stocked with supplies.
Faolan walked up the wooden ramp calmly, listeming to the sailors swap news. "Did'ja hear?" one said to another, "not to long ago, a crusaders vessel was stolen from this very port! They say twenty men stormed the port, led by a ferocious bull king! They say he was twice as tall as a normal man, and could kill twelve with a single swipe!"
"Really?" Faolan said calmly, as the sailors jumped in surprise. "Well, then. My name is Faolan and I can kill twenty before you can even see me."
The sailors laughed coarsely, eyeing the slim 21 year old in front of them.
"I want this boat." Faolan ordered, drawing his sword.
"The boat's not fer sale" the sailor said, closing in on Faolan, sabre ready.
"I didn't say anything about buying it." The assassin smiled. The battle was over before it began. The sailor with the cutlass received a slash across the stomach. In the same movement, the others head was removed from his body. The two sailors fell to the ground lifelessly.
Before anyone could notice, the assassin was out at sea, the boats former crew floating in the sea.

Barbod rushed to Reno's side and tore the bolt out from his leg
"Sorry about that lad. My bad." Barbod said compashinatly, helping the weakend reno back up to his feet. Barbod grabbed a spear that was fallen on the deck and hureled it, impaling a falcon from behind. "Bloody Falcons!" Barbod screamed, running to retrive his spear. He tore it from the falcon's back and ran into battle. He saw an archer aiming up his bow to Drakkos back from at least twenty pases behind. I can not reach him in time Barbod thought, quickly running towards Drakko.
"Bloody Falcon!" Barbod screamed, leaping into the air behind Drakko. Barbod felt a sharp pain in his chest as Drakko whipped around, Still holding the sheild of the bull king.
"Bloody.....falcon..."escaped Barbod's lips before everything went black...

Bjarn swore and pulled himself out of the pile of crates. Gasping with pain, he ripped a strip of canvas from a felled sail and wrapped it around his chest.

Snatching up his saber he hauled himseft a few yards up the main mast of the Shadow and observed the the battle from below. The Hornet was in it's death throws, the water line was only four feet from the railing of the top deck. The ship on the other side of the pirate ship had lower and an army of Black Falcons were surging onto the Hornet. Falcons, why Falcons? he groaned. Shifting slightly he spotted the abandoned Crusader ship. Lord Barbod and the other Wolfpack fellow had made short of of the Crusaders. Suddenly Bjarn heard the Bull King's classic war cry, and turned in time to see Barbod take the arrow that was ment for Drakko. MEGABLOKS!

Bjarn jumped from the mast and started to run to the side of the Hornet when the pirate first mate Smyth stepped in his path, wielding a broken spear. The pirate whacked Bjarn such a blow it sent the old wandering reeling. Bjarn quickly recovered and swung his saber, slicing through Smyth's weapon. The pirate turned to find another weapon but before his could lay his hands on anything Bjarn had whipped out his bow and flung it over Smyth's head and pulled tight. Smyth struggled but he could not pull away the bow that was cutting off his air. A second before the pirate blacked out Bjarn released his grip on the bow and hit Smyth over the head with the flat side of his blade. Dragging the unconcious pirate over to the opening to the bilges, Bjarn kicked the pirate inside and slammed the trapdoor shut.

That prisoner might prove useful. Bjarn thought, Now to Barbod!

Willem felt sleepy. Very sleepy. His body was on fire from his wounds.

Ugg....

His mind was quickly dulling...

Sleeppp....

A few seconds later, he was jolted awake by a sharp pain in his leg.

His eyes flew open, and memories of what had happened flooded him.

Bjarn... he quickly stood up. Looking around, he couldn't see Bjarn. Instead, he saw a pirate armed with a spear rushing straight at him.

SHIFTY BRICK! he thought, and quickly whirled around, dodging the weapon. In one swift movement, he kicked the spear out the pirate's hand and proceeded to fall down on his back.

I feel stupid... he thought.

A few seconds later he saw the pirate standing over him. He aimed the spear and thrusted it right into the pirate's heart. AS the pirate cried out, Willem quickly rose to his feet.

"Megablocks..." he said aloud. He watched helplessly as Barbod took an arrow in his chest.

Wasting no time, he picked up his daggers lying nearby, sheathed them, and drew some of his hidden knives.

Time for ranged combat... he thought, stepping over a corpse. If only I wasn't so megablocks weak.

He reached Barbod around the same time as Bjarn.

"Take care of him." Willem said, "I'll take care of these bloody Falcons."

As he threw his first knife, he silently chuckled to himself. I'm beginning to sound like Barbod

The knife hit a Falcon archer square in the chest. Needless to say, there would be many more.

Graygon was the last one on the Crusader ship, realizing this he kicked the anchor loose before continuing the battle. Graygon jumped from the ship, just barely making it to the other. As he landed he saw the trouble brewing, Falcons were swarming from the other side like rodents. Graygon saw one drop as a knife was thrown deep in his chest. Looking over Graygon saw Willem, wounded, but still much fight in him. Grabbing his bow from his back, Graygon saw the battle was turning against them. Graygon fired his arrows as fast as he could, dropping the first Falcon he saw with a shot to the neck. After his first shot Graygon's accuracy started to drop, there was no time to aim, no time to pick a target, just fire at the Falcons as long as I keep firing it slows them down he thought.

Willem saw the first arrow drop a Falcon, glancing over he saw Graygon firing again. A slight smile came to Willem's face, as the next Falcon buckled as the arrow went deep in his leg. Willem threw his next knife, dropping another Falcon as the knife hit him in the chest. As Willem grabbed another knife the Falcons were getting too close for comfort. Willem glanced back at his fallen comrades, still alive he looked back at the Falcons, a shot from behind dropped one of the advancing group. It had to be Bjarn Willem thought, but there was no time to be sure, as another arrow flew past him and hit another Falcon.

The ranged combat did not last long, although a good number of Falcons were down either wounded or dead. Graygon had already dropped his bow and went to work with his sword, taking down another two Falcons. Willem and Bjarn held their ground, defending the wounded Barbod as best they could. Drakko jumped in to the mix, proudly bashing a Falcon's head open with the Barbod's shield.

As much as the battle seamed to be ending, it just kept continuing....

Bjarn nodded and Willem lept into the fray. Bjarn ripped a strip from another fallen sail and carefully eased the arrow out of Barbod's chest. Blood spurted from the wound but Bjarn quickly dumped the last of Reno's healing potion on the wound before wrapping the sail around the wound. As he tied up the banage, Reno and another person rushed up. "Bjarn...what happened? Barbod!!" Reno cried.

Before Bjarn could reply the deck of the Hornet shifted and tilted 15 degrees. The Hornet had less than a minute to live. "GET HIM ON TO THE SHADOW!!" Bjarn screamed, "WE'VE GOT TO GET HIM OFF OF HERE!!"

Reno and the other fellow - How much they look alike Bjarn thought, scrambled forward and grabbed Barbod's shoulders and legs. "Hurry!" urged Bjarn, "I'll cover you!"

As the Reno and the other person fought to get to the Shadow, Bjarn leaped up the stairs to the stern of the Hornet. Grabbing the last of his arrows, he felled nine Black Falcons before grabbing his saber and swinging down on a rope to the side of Drakko. "We must leave NOW!!" he shouted, "There's too many off them!!" The deck of the tiled another 10 degrees.

The deck tilted another ten degrees.
"GRAYGON!!!" Reno shouted, he looked down onto the sinking Hornet Graygon was slashing everything in sight, but he was not off the ship. Reno looked at the deck of the Hornet, it had approximmatley 50 seconds, before it went to its watery grave. Graygon was holding his own, but soon he would be in the sea. Reno grabbed the battered and broken sail of the Hornet, and pushed off the Shadow, and onto the Hornet "COVER ME!" Reno shouted and he slammed down on the now water covered deck of the hornet. Reno landed with his sword drew, and slashed the nearest falcon. Graygon held onto the rope and dodged a number of arrows Reno gripped the rope, another volley of arrows came from the Shadow, Drakko, Aros and Willem pulled the sail and Graygon and Reno got pulled up to the Shadow. The shadow did not have any major damage, Bjarn was pulling up the Anchor, and the shadow esbaped the wreckage of ships. The Hornet tilted for the last time and sunk, killing all aboard the Hornet, the shadow sailed of towards the distance....

The pirates have been out at sea for 19 days now, and Logan is getting sick and tired of sitting cramped up in a dark corner, eating apples and old cheese from the barrels he's hiding behind. “I can't take this anymore, I've got to get out of this corner or I'm going to loose it!” he says to himself. Suddenly, one of the pirates says “Hey Abe, grab one of the apple barrels for me.” “Get it yourself you old sea dog” Abe replies. The pirate says. “If you don't get me a apple I'm going to hand ya!”. “alright ya old sea dog, but this is the last time I'm getting something for you!” Abe replies. Abe walks over to the barrels and opens the lid to the barrel. “WHAT!?!?!, where did all the apples go?!?!?”. Abe said “what do you mean the apples are gone????” the old pirate says back to Abe. “Ahh!, I see a rat behind the barrels, maybe him and his friends have been at the apples!” Then Abe starts to take barrel after barrel looking for the rats. “Oh Megablocks!, so much for not being found” Logan says to himself.

Abe takes one of the barrels and throws it over board. When Abe looks back Logan is there ready with his axe. “ahh!, a stole away!. Abe readys his sword. Meanwhile the old sea dog is yelling and ringing the bell. “help! Cough cough HELP!” pirates started to come out of the holes in the deck with there swords ready in hand. Logan swings his axe at Abe. But Abe stops it before it could do any damage. Then Logan takes his sword out and cut Abes legs off. While Abe screams for help pirates start to jump into the battle. “arrrghhh!” Logan quickly jumps into the air while swinging his axe taking the pirates head off. When Logan lands on the deck he stabs a pirate in front of him. Then all the pirates start to back away. Logan looks around, when he looks behind him he sees a big pirate with a huge sword. “ahh! So this is whats making all the noise!” the big pirate takes his sword and throws it down where Logan is, Logan jumps away but the sword splinters all the wood. Logan jumps at the pirate with his axe in hand. But the pirate swings his sword towards Logan almost slicing Logan in half. While Logan try s to get himself back together after what happened. The pirate swings again. But Logan jumps under the pirate cutting off one of the pirates legs. The pirate gives a scream while Logan gets up and swings his axe at the pirates back. The pirate falls to the deck with a crash. The pirates start to jump over board yelling for there life's. After a hour Logan finds some slaves and the slaves will help him if he lets them go, so Logan agrees.
