Ziggy- Good point about the two coming factions, I actually thought of that. But when I read Sir Kohran's post about making a character, the two factions were not listed, so I wasn't sure, but adding them in shouldn't be too much of a problem.
As for the Crusaders, I just read that they were to the south, but it can be changed.

RCK- Vikings to the North? Sure thing!

I guess I'm going to go do a little modding to the map now. :)
Thanks for the suggestions.

EDIT- Ok, I have moved the Vikings North, switched the Crusaders with the Shadow Knights to put them under the KK1 guys. I have also included some islands all about. (Including the KK2 'Jellybean islands' :P )

We know crusaders are amassing at the BF border, why would the ninjas/samuri let them? Furthermore, shouldn't the ninjas be more disconnected seeing as they are a different sort of faction. You mentioned giving the pirates territory, but if they're pirates wouldn't they have a few small islands at the most? I personally feel the vikings should have off land property as well and only a little bit of captured land in the north.

Edit: One more thing, there are no phones. How can the Crusaders have another province so far up north. Same goes for the jellybeans, their islands have to be close enough for easier communication.

Guys, guys...

...in order for something to be on the map, it has to be in the roleplay FIRST. Any maps made at this time should only cover what we already have already written in the roleplay. So if you want the Vikings to have an island, then mention it in one of your posts. The map should suit the roleplay, not the other way round.

Good point Sir Kohrn. I'm just saying logically what would be where on this map. However I don't entrirely agree with you, we shlould have an outline of where the factions are. Maybe if we can all discuss where we would like each faction to be just as we have with the Crusaders, BFs, KK1ers and Vikings.

Not to be a know-it-all but as a veteran of the old roleplay I fully agree with Sir Kohran. That´s the way RPs should work in all ways, be it maps, backstory, culture, language etc etc... nothing should be decided in these kinds of thread, it´s all about improvising in the IC thread.

Love and peace 8)

(Oh, and I might join someday... keep your eyes open ;))

EDIT: It seems I did join... 8)

Very good points made by the veterans. :)
I've updated here a bit. I went through and read the current roleplay posts and kept in the places we have been to.
I know, I kept the boudries the same as before. But I just wasn't sure what to do about that.

The little black dots and marks are just tiny references of the towns and places that have been played at.
Also, if you didn't already guess. The black area is just un-played-in territory.

Let me know what needs change or what all and I'll gladly fix it.

Here is my description of Kurtec's group, I've also put his picture in the post above.
Image

Left to right is Raynol, Garis, Jargon, Kurtec, and Serj'e.

Character's Age:35, 27,41,36,43
Character's Information :After the scam, Kutec, Raynol, and Jarcon were giuven weapons and prepared to leave. Garis, Raynol's cousin, who was in a different part of the military, volunteered to join them as an extra man for the company.Serj'e, is not a native Black Falcon, but had citizenship and loyalty to the King. He too was accused as a contact outside of the castle's armory and therefore also chose to join the others.
Character's Faction : Formerly Black Falcons, most still loyal.
Character's Place in Hierarchy : Mercenaries
Character's Equipment:Raynol: Carries a shortsword from his early days of the military, still carries his BF shield. Garis: Carries a curved pike, made for catching enemy weapons and throwing them away. Also has a shield with a small blade for impalling those inside of his pike range. Jargon:He has an advanced crossbow much like Kurtec's but less ornamental, he also uses bare hands.
Kurtec:See previous post.
Serj'e: Wields an axe, nothing special. Also uses a daul assasians knife which he has learned to use in the backstreets of the kingdom.

Character's Name: Captain Bane Martel
Character's Age: 27
Character's Information: Bane was raised in the coastal Port town, Mattiday. His father, Captain Jackson Martel, was a very cruel and barbaric pirate, who treated his men like rubbish. Now at age 27 Bane has his very own ship, in which he sails accross the world in search of treasure & adventure.
Character's Faction: Pirates
Character's Place in Hierarchy: Captain
Character's Equipment: Sword, Captain's hat, Parrot, and his ship.
Other: Despite being brought up by such a barbaric man, Bane is a very noble Pirate, but is not to be crossed. He also has a strong liking for Rum & Whiskey.

I should really hook Lokr up with some other characters...

EDIT: New character, Forestman for a change.
Character's Name: Jarvis "Jarv" o'Fulmarch
Character's Age: 21
Character's Information: Jarvis was born and raised in the town of Fulmarch, in the Forestmen part of the Northern Forests. From when he was four, Jarvis had the ability to communicate and understand animals. Teased by local Forestman kids because of his love of animals and thin build, Jarv joined the druid academy at the age of only thirteen, passing the entrance exam with a mark of perfect. After only two years he became an acolyte, and by age seventeen he was a full-blown druid. In the four years since then, Jarvis has taken care of many creatures of the forest, and travelled far and wide in the Northern Forests. He does not know much of other ecozones, though.
Character's Faction: Forestmen
Character's Place in Hierarchy: Druid
Character's Equipment: Herbs of various uses such as healing, pain, and food, wooden druid staff with esoteric symbols, longbow with quiver and arrows, ritual knife
Other: Jarv is a young, eager, and enthusiastic man, which can sometimes make him annoying, but he is a great person. Sometimes he cares more about animals and trees than people, though. Jarvis likes to turn into an eagle and fly above the forests from time to time.
Character's Looks: This is he...though he is missing his longbow.

Grumble. The other rpg ended way too soon, I just started on it. This does seem very popular though...

Character's Name: Garland the Black
Character's Age: 40 something.
Character's Information: Garland was an acomplished paladin of the Crusaders, but left to pursue his own ways. He is a right hand to the Black Monarch and works to unite the factions into a single empire of the Black Knights.
Character's Faction: Black Knights
Character's Place in Hierarchy: Baron, with knight training.
Character's Equipment: Sword, armor
Other: Garland is stern, pushy, and does not enjoy being bothered. He prefers to work alone, but other characters are free to join up with him for humor's sake.

I think it comes from one of the Star Wars sets, perhaps the big Clone tank.

That's right! The BARC speeder features two like that, and two more with a slightly different design. I was a bit of a SW freak and it was some of my own first lego. Unfourtunately my little brother decided to wreck my Juggurnaut and AT-TE, it got me more into castle though
