Looks like a lot of really cool castle MOCs are going to be on the layout at Brickworld :D !

I especially like some of the Viking-theme MOCs showing up and around...

Well, anyway I'm one of David's cohorts in IndyLUG (I've posted here before but lost my old account...lol). I've missed BW the last two years due to money issues, but finally am going this year.

I'll be featuring a rather large castle (3x3 32xbp for the castle itself, or 5x4 bp including landscaping) for the walled city, called Baron Castle, a MOC based on a fantasy castle of the same name from the Final Fantasy IV video game. It replaces an old castle I had built which I think was discussed on here eons ago called Aithelnen...

I only took one WIP image of the new castle before it was completed and boxed up for the show, but it gives an idea:

Anyway looking forward to seeing everyone's creations (and meeting some of you) in just a couple of days!

Regards,
- Matthew "Paladin" (MRB)

We had a great time at Brickworld! There were plenty of people who brought Castle MOC's--so many that we ran out of space.

Anyway, there were a couple of things left in the Castle area when everyone was packing up. I asked everyone who I knew had items in the Castle layout if they were theirs, but never did find an owner. One item was a small P.A.B. cup, and the other was "treasure" that was left on the shore by the Viking village. If you are the owner of either of these items, please PM me with a description of the P.A.B. cup contents or a description of the treasure, so that I can verify that it's yours. Hopefully we can get these lost items back to who they belong to.

Thanks,
David
