BrickCon 2009 Classic-Castle Meetup

Post by plums_deify »

Hey, C-C BrickCon Attendees!

How do ya'll feel about meeting up at TS McKews up the street for dinner Friday night? It's close, it's not the centerhouse, and it's a chance for us all to hang out early on and get to know the newbies.

If you're interested, please reply to this thread. We'll need to make reservations.

Thanks!

I am definately interested, its high time something like this happened. Question though, I assume nothing is happening at this point Friday night that would conflict? I'm sure you know what sort of schedual we have, but there isn't any Lego store shopping or anything then right? I can't remember well enough from last year what happened. But yeah, I'm in.

This will most likely be relatively early, between 4-6pm, allowing plenty of time to return to the Exhibition hall before we head to Bellevue for the Store.

It's a Restaurant that happens to have a bar. Underage is totally welcome there.

I rather think Wayne would skin me if I was not at opening ceremonies, so we'll be done by then. That's why I'm thinking early, like around 4pm. Early enough to get in and out with a group and beat the dinner-time crowds, but leave before the evening-goers.

Excellent.

I'm looking to make the reservations a couple days early, so I'm going to ask you sign up via this thread by 9/30, two weeks from today.

If you'd rather not post, I'm open to PM's, too.

Thanks!

Confirming me +1

EDIT: Crap-in-a-hat! The schedule has been posted and I am supposed to do my Intro to BrickWiki presentation @ 5:00 pm! BTW Opening ceremonies are not scheduled until 7:30. Might want to change to 5pm for the dinner and I'll just come after I finish?
