Ah yes many hands make light work. I'll help where I can of course.

Actually working on Castley bits this time around but they/it/whatever may not fit into the "bits" category.
As my project progresses I'll be sure to let you know how much area I'd like. I plan on it being stand alone (well sort of, working on a collaborative project) but like I've done before I really don't mind building one of my edges to base8 so it all blends well. :)

Are you going to be at the August SEALUG meeting? It'll be at the Woodinville Library.

Sounds great, Thomas! Always love your layouts. Just a heads up, one end of the cooperative layout will be lots of water, the other end will be normal land. It doesn't matter which end at this point. Just a heads up for your edge that could connect, since I don't know what you are planning. If you have a connecting edge, I'll put you on one end or the other, whichever you prefer.

Unfortunately, no. My schedule slowly rotates throughout the year and I'm currently in a time when my two weekends a month fall on the first and last weekends of the month.

What is the total area we have to work with? (length/width). Josh confirmed the tables are a little bigger than 30"x60", but some of the pictures from previous years of BrickCon show larger work areas. How many tables do we get for this display?

A lot. We won't know for awhile yet. The layouts you have seen are tons of tables together. That has never been an issue.

Can I call red/black as my "marker" colours please?

Yes, you may. From what I understand, we mostly use those for buildings in a city, right? I don't think we used them at all last year and we didn't have much of a city at all.

But we can fly markers this year. I call Green over Yellow.

For those who are new to this, if you bring a MOC for the cooperative layout, you fly your marker flags on it so that everyone knows who it belongs to.

Josh

PS. I'll keep track of who's flags are which and I'll bring a cheat sheet to the Con.

They aren't required. Its only if you want them or need them.

Sorry guys, but I'm bringing Technic and Space only again (I'm sorry, I only have so much suitcase-space)
I'll try to at least bring a little island for Josh's sea.

Hey Josh! I know I'm late to the party, but I am very much most likely coming and would love to bring some castley stuffins!!!

I have several village buildings and am hoping to get that windmill up and running for sure! I have another large-ish display in addition to the TR-57 stuff, but if I have time and you have need I could prolly work up something else more along the lines of a mountain, a castle/fortress, and/or just landscaping (hillocks, etc).

Lemme know if you have any particular needs and I will be happy to try to accommodate!

Oh, and if green over white (or the inverted) is un-claimed, I hereby claim it...for...uh...me.

Sweet! I'll be really glad to see you. You are an old hand at this, so you know how it works. Ted is ramrodding the CCC wall sections. I will have a large sea, so any maritime stuff is more than welcome. Just let me know what you have when the time comes and how much room you will need. Consider your flags claimed.
