I made a cart with 4 horse carriage carrying a huge dragon head and can throw the dragon knight dragon in there with some scared lion knights running away for good measure somewhere else :D
There'll probably be lots of space for stuff like that, no worries.

I don't feel like I should bring any filler stuff, since I plan on leaving Saturday evening, but I'm very excited to see what you all come up with. Theoretically, starting next year, I will be able to stay the whole weekend.... and then my little minifigs would love to come join in a battle. ;-)

What amount of large space is left available or could be worked in?

I could bring everything... but that would be a lot of space...

I could also bring just stuff that has never been shown (plus filler Base8 BPB grass, rivers, and roads), that would be a 64x80 space along a coastline (with 64x64 being out in the water) and a 32x32 building in a rural area.

Or I could bring the new stuff, plus stuff that hasn't been shown in Seattle, that would add something like a 96x96 area.

Update with one week to go!

Here is what we need:

1. We currently only need 3 32x32 baseplates of filler to make the layout come out even. The filler just needs to be general landscaping with trees and bushes or what-not. No roads or rivers, please.

2. Up to 23 32x32 tan baseplates with minimal landscaping and features. This sounds like a lot, but don't panic! I have another option in mind, if we don't fill this space. But my preference is to have it all be tan baseplates and to have a fig battle in this spot.

3. Figs are always good. We probably won't use all that are brought, so don't be offended if your figs aren't used. What we could really use is civilian type figs, with some wagons and such. We always seem to have more than enough soldiers and it would be nice to see more civilians going about their business.

4. I haven't heard a lot about a CC-style city this year, but if you have wall sections or buildings, feel free to bring them. I do have a spot where they could work.

Hey Frank,

It's good to hear that you are definitely going to be there. I have one large section left that you can have, to do with as you choose. It is a 60"x 60" section (6 baseplates square, but you know that) at the furthest left of the co-op layout, much like you were in '06. All the people that you would match up to on the right, are building just normal BpB edges, with no rivers or roads, so there is no complicated issues to take into consideration.

Unfortunately, you are a long ways away from any other water, so if you want to use your coastline, you would need another one as well. Basically, you can have a clean slate for that section and whatever you can't use I will use for some stand-alone MOCs.

Thanks!
Josh

Hmm, I might be able to throw a 32x field or two in my bag.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

I might be able to bring some, do you want BPB or just baseplates? I can certainly bring baseplates (I could also bring stuff to make risers for the baseplates).

Ok, so I have one 60" edge of BPB land? No problem, I'll put my water to the end. I'll figure out what to bring to fit that (and at least some of what I bring will be filler, so if it turns out there are more MOCs that could fit in the space, we'll work them in). I can certainly work in a town/city building or two if folks have such since part of what I bring will be a town.

I'm thinking perhaps no black castle this year, but still bring the wharf scene, I can work my new castle into a coastal section with the wharf scene to fill out a 30"x60" section with coast and a river (with the river going off the table).

Thanks

That would be great! No they don't need to be BpB for this. I figured I would taper it down just baseplate level and throw some random plates on them. It will just be desert and have lots of figs for a battle. At least that is what I was figuring we could do. I'll put post-it notes on the bottom to say who's plates and such on the baseplates. I know you label your baseplates already, so we are good there.

Correct. There will be a 60" edge of BpB for you to attach to, with no roads or rivers to meet up with.

Guess I haven't posted here yet but hey I'll be there! :D

Josh, I replied to those emails. Yes I'll bring my stack on 16x32 tan baseplates I think I have ~40 I'll also bring those transition plates with the sand green and then green bpb. I may still have those crater plates that I built that 64x64 sand dune on them. Not sure how much filler I've got left together, had about ten 32x32s and some smaller sizes, if they are still together I'll bring them.

Last 4 weeks has been crazy working with Wayne trying to finish everything up for the Con!! Haven't had much build time but I should be able to finish my area this weekend.

I'm off to build! 8)

Sweet! Sounds like we will have the desert filled in then. Most excellent.

I replied to your email, with two of my own. ;)

Josh, if needed, I can make room for some green baseplates if someone else can provide the green plates to put on them.

I have one single tan 32x32 baseplate, too, as well as some blue. Just let me know!

Josh--I'll bring some more fill-in, and some "bloody peasants!" going about their dreary life's toil. And a few other small surprises to work in.

The tan and blue baseplates would be awesome. I have plenty of green ones and tons of green bricks and plates.

I have three carts and a dozen peasants, plus a few armies of varying sizes. (Anywhere from 3 to 40) And by a few, I mean almost every faction.

I'll have a (somewhat small) village as part of my MOC that could always use more peasants, if I don't pack it full by then, so you and anyone else is welcome to fill them in around it. Just got to finish the rest of it. Workworkwork... Two days before I have to pack everything up. Ugh.
