Sweet! It will be good to see again, Thomas. It's been too long. So does this mean that Chris is definitely coming as well?

Josh
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Unfortunately, no. At this point, it is looking like he wont be able to come.

Oh well, that's okay. I suppose one Wunz is enough. ;)

Oooookay..update on my area. I have a 3x4 32x32 desert section with a large sand dune and oasis (which already has nefarious plans made for it). On this desert will sit a 60 stud x 60 stud (yes I know that isn't huge but remember I have to mail this MOC out to the con and back) desert castle...in TAN. :eyebrows: Like anyone would be shocked by that revelation. There will be plant life and such. Maybe a camel caravan..but no battles. I'll leave that to the medieval war fare area. Oh! And the whole thing slopes up to a raised base...yes yes..I kept the edges at the baseplate plus a brick thing. But the castle sits on a area 4 bricks above the baseplate and the oasis is over 12 bricks off the baseplate.

Oh..don't you worry...that isn't even 1/3 the amount of tan I own.

Nope. It will preview at Brickcon. Mostly because it has a FAR way to be shipped and will be in set up mode until Brickcon. But also partially that I don't do WIP's. (Psst..the walls have ears! )

My registration just went through, not sure yet what I can bring exactly, it depends on my suitcase more than it depends on me (I said that last year too, when I forgot my MOCs  )
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Let's not go through that again this year. I would hate to see you mocked for forgetting your MOC's

I'll try not to leave my MOCs behind 8000 miles away this time. Is there a sea area like last time? I would like to build an island (yeah, just one, unfortunately I'm limited in what I can take with me on the plane).
Yup, I'll have the sea area again. It covers a lot of space and is easy to bring. I'm also working on a tower and surrounding landscape. You'd better bring an island this time. No lame excuses like last year. "8000 miles and I forgot it in my kitchen", whatever. ;)
Aaaaaaand just because you said that, I'm not bringing an island! Rebellious minion is rebellious.
I'm collaborating with Blues on a desert bit this time. I won't leave it in my kitchen I promise

For planning purposes: Blue's bit is 3x4 baseplates, I'm 1x4 fitting to the front of that, so just put us down as 4x4, desert.
I'm looking forward to it already! :D

Sand?! There be a castle on that layout and an oasis and some other loveliness. Yeah it is a solid base 4x4 covered (and raised up) in tan but hey...I'm not called the Queen of Tan for nothing. That isn't even all my tan. I have a tan Ollie coming also and probably somewhere between 1/3 to 3/5 of my tan still not being used.
I'm looking forward to it already! :D
I'm so excited! The great and powerful AC is collaborating with me...tis an honor.

Is there going to be power available? I have some lights for my MOC that need power, but I don't remember if there'll be outlets running to the different display tables.
