For individuals: no, it winds up being determined by the space you take upon arrival with MOC setup, then by the theme leader's guidance, and finally how many attend (I've been asked to compress my displays about half the time. While I've done well in the past, it's because I get there right as it opens for MOCs (1200 on first day).ZacharyIslazy wrote:when you sign-up as a 4-day attendee, is there a certain amount of table real estate you are given? Does this change if you are part of a collab?
For officially recognized collabs: Yes, space is allocated by 1. Todd, in a general map location and 2. the theme leads. It can be great or cruddy depending on how things role out. The most important thing here is to get recognized as a collab by the leads, then make sure everyone bringing a MOC registers early and as part of the collab. If you are recognized as a collab, everyone has to display together. in 2013 we were not recognized and we wound up in 3 different areas.
So early next year we need to be recognized as an official collab by Todd. I will ask when I think he has the time to work it. He is very busy....
