Hey all,

Mockingbird has posted pics from Lowlug's display at Modelbouw and Miniatuur in Rijswijk 2006:

.

In addition to Mockinbird's winning entry from this year's CCC, there are also some of Marakoeschtra's animals and that mill looks really familiar. Does anyone know who built that nice small castle? Anyway, I hope more pics are posted from this show soon.

I really like the castle. Putting pieces studs-out in some places on the wall is really a clever idea. The dirt path through the village also looks great!

Gosh, when you hide these MOCs in Displays, I usually miss them - my favorite is this - http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/mocki ... c01304.jpg

And that is a nice little castle. Is brown tudor the new standard?

EDIT: I love the roof on this little duck house.

I really like some of this stuff, especially that bridge (Marakoeschtra's design, although MOCkingbird's is great too).

I hope Marakoeschtra sees this and tells us more about it, and maybe uploads some more pics.

The castle layout was made by me (Mockingbird), Michel and Marakoeschtra. The castle in the middle was made by Michel. The layout on the left of the castle was mine, and on the right is Marakoeschtra's. Together we had about 4.5 m castle layout. It looked really good.

PS. Sorry for the poor quality of my photos  . Better pictures will probably soon be available on brickshelf.

Its beyond me how someone comes up with all those pieces. The detail to the terrain is excellent.

This display is amazing. All the detail. The castle, trees, houses, and even a watermill. But on top of that, cows plowing a field. Wow. I never would of thought of that. Simply amazing.

The fence near the building with a yellow roof is incredibly unique, and the bridge is fantastic.
