Comic Book Conventions

To me, a key point of Classic Castle, and the Adult LEGO hobby in general, is displaying our collections to the world at large. It legitimizes our hobby in the eyes of the public at large, and to TLG. Legitimization has its own benefits - but it also helps educate the public about the wonders of LEGO - not to mention alot of fun!
I'd like to put together a list of people interested in doing such displays.
I've recently contacted Medieval and Renaissance Festivals in florida, and have recently found a list of Comic Cons in florida.
the site http://comicbookconventions.com has a listing of Comic Cons through out the country - there should be one near you.
If you only have a modest collection, but are still interested in displaying, it may be possible for people to ship MOCs to you for the Con, then you can ship back afterwards.
