Post by timber_wolf899 »

Greetings all;

This is for all you reinactors and the like.

Would like to find a Roman gladius of the type used either in the galic wars or by trajan.

Any suggestions of where i should look?

I want a display piece for my library, but would prefer an authentic 'working' sword as those display only things are just......

thanks
Domino Gloria!

You could try Museum Replicas for not too expensive display piece or somewhere like Albion Swords for more durable work.

Albion's 'The Pedite' (part of their Next Generation line) seems to be exactly what you're looking for.
Forge not works of art but swords of death, for therein lies great art.
