I've noticed runes on two of the viking shields.
There are also runes on this sticker set:
Has anyone deciphered them? I've looked at the various runic alphabets on wikipedia and I just can't match all the letters. The letters that I can match don't make much sense (at least in English).
I could figure out that the runes on this tile spell LEGO:

What do those runes mean?

Thanks DNL. I forgot to search the forums for a previous discussion. Duh! Back to farming gongs.

Re: What do those runes mean?
Cool DNL. I remember translating some of the hieroglyphs on a LEGO brick a long time ago. It translated to "LEGO."

I'll look into it but from close vew i'd say they looked like runes from Tokiens books i.e lord of the rings, the hobbit etc.

Re: What do those runes mean?
I tried translating the shields, and like CLM said in the other thread, it seems like gibberish, though it may be Anglo-saxon runes. I'll try that.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.
