what a brilliant discovery, quite informative article too. It's a bit ironic that this find has been made in Oxford university when Cambridge offers the course specific to this area (anglo-saxon, norse and celtic studies) Thanks for the link FLK

Nice article. It's a good thing they took the time to look before thy built, or we might not be reading this article today! The page also has a video of a viking replica longship "The Sea Stallion", which is pretty neat to watch, too.
