Not sure how this fits in with LEGOs, but it is still very awesome. I feel they nailed everyone, especially Bilbo, except Balin, who should be a tad less "nosey" OHOHOHOHOH PUN. :roflol:
If I were to make something out of LEGOs, I would probably use LEGOs. Pretty advanced stuff going on up in my head.

I thought it was incredibly dull- it didn't hype me at all except for the end.

Oh, I don't think that we will be disappointed with Sir Peter at the helm... I'm going to watch these films with an open mind instead of demanding anything. The trailer looks good, especially the Dwarven singing which is exactly how I imagined it. Can't wait.

I expect good things from the movie but the trailer was honestly not that interesting to me. I don't like a lot of trailers, though, so there you go.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

It was all fluff, devoid of excitement. A lot of the footage shown was very subtle (which perhaps reflects the end product) but all the same, fails to excite. For a film that people have been waiting close to a decade for it definitely could have been done a lot better.

Guess you missed the Lego LOTR/Hobbit announcement then?... :tasty:

Trailer looks good. Probably just as well they waited 10 years to do these ones, as the style/feel of the film looks exactly the same, or maybe they've just done that in the trailer. Though would have been interesting to see what Guillermo Del Toro (who was originally signed up) would have done with the Tolkien world.

No, I didn't. It's just that the LOTR news on the home page was about a LEGO license of the books/movies. Not about the movie specifically.

I saw it last night and was not too impressed. You could barely even tell that it was based off of the book, and not just because they added things, which is to be expected when you stretch a 200-page book into 3 movies. They also took a lot of book content out, and totally changed what little was left of the original storyline.

I give it 6.5/10
