Is that true?Thats good, because the good guys are Bloom who becomes a knight and DEFENDS Jerusalem from another Crusader army.
Many knights of earlier Crusades and/or those who were captured by the Arabs ended up fighting along side the armies of Islam who also had Jews and other Christians within their ranks.
I actually didn't know there were christians & jews fighting alongside the arab armies against other Crusader armies.
Here's some info I found about the movie....
Some press channels are focusing on the terrorist threats that plagued Heaven's production as well as outcries from Muslims who have denounced the film entirely; other media outlets are obsessed with the fact that Orlando Bloom had to wear a hair piece on his chest to appear more manly. Sigh ...
Naturally this project will be measured against Scott's Gladiator in so many ways (and it's worth nothing that Scott abandoned a prequel to his biggest success in order to make this picture). Fox execs will pull their hair out if Bloom fails, in his first solo attempt, to open big. But really is there any need to worry? By now we're so accustomed to his being in costumes that it'd be awkward to see him in anything but a period epic. And who can forget the success DreamWorks had in launching Gladiator during the same timeframe back in 2000.
