I found clips from what seems to be a great looking Thai film called "The Legend of Suriyothai". It's set around 1548, during a war between Siam and Burma.

Suriyothai was a Siamese queen who broke tradition and fought alongside her kindom's army when the Burmese invaded Siam.

Siamese Mumakil.... err, War Elephants.

A figurine based on the Siamese soldiers in the movie.

Anyway, here's clip.

Looks like we can use those wide-brim helmets from KK1 to make Siamese troops! :D

I might have seen that movie, if I can remember.

I agree, you could use those Engilsh wide brim helmets to match these troops or at least some of them.

Is that a wizard's hat on the guy riding the elephant. Sure looks like one.

This seems to be an oriental version of Joan of Arc. Still, it looks like it might be good.

Aye, you can describe it as that. But this IS Thai history. Also found a kind of "follow up" movie made by the same company and using the same costumes and etc. called King Naresuan.

BTW, the Thai Royal Family backs these movies financially. It shows their family history as well as the history of the nation and people.

Joan of Arc IS French history.

Yeah, but Joan was never crowned Queen.

Besides, they have Mumakil... err... War Elephants on this one instead of French Knights/cavalry.
