Hi all,
I got interested in my coat of arms when I had to find it for a class presentation last year. I found it (not Wunz :( ), and I wanted to know what all of the stuff stood for. So, after searching a little bit, I came up with this site. I found all the symbols here, and I found out that I am decended from people who where bodyguards. Pretty neat, eh?

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you my find.

In Christ Jesus my Savior,

This site is cool, but it costs money. It does give helpful information for free, though. Thanks for sharing it.

The information is what I was talking about. It tells you what the colors and symbols and everything stand for. Sorry if that sounder harsh, it wasn't meant to.

That's what I assumed. I was just commenting on the other stuff in the site, which cost money.

I've seen a lot of nice information (Wikipedia is always my first stop after google) about heraldry, and this website you've listed is quite nice as well - a lot of good data.

Of course, you actually need go no further than our CC resources to find a really great article as well. 8) This is a nice little article about heraldry too, and how it ties in with some of the LEGO shields we all know.

I never saw that, Ottoatm! Even though I've been looking around for stuff about it, I would never of thought to look here. THe article is great, although I do not wish to change the subject to it(as thereis a thread already going  .)

Thanks,

Glad you like it ~ I always have to remind myself that CC has a lot of great resources and articles, besides their forum. 8)

Anyway, I did bookmark your page as well - as it has a lot of good text and info on one page.
