Ive been to the LIC in Orlando. The play area is fun, but you have to fight a bunch of little kids for the best pieces. It feature four or five playareas with loose bricks - all those bricks are sun-bleached and worn on the edges.
It features a fair PAB which used to have buckets for 1x4, 2x4 Light Grey and 2x4 Dark Grey. Every now and then the get extra cool pieces, like a wide selection of trans-pieces. Most of the PAB is 1x4, 2x4, or 2x2 bricks.
The staff is very nice. Also GFLUG (Florida Lego Club) has a display space in there, which was KK Quah's Japanese Castle for a while (Dunno if it Still is). The prices are all MSRP, except every now and then they have day sales (like all Harry Potter 50% off for Saturday only).
I say it is worth a visit, but not something to drive a long time for. If you happen to be in Orlando or Disney, it is worth a stop.
