Sure - if you need helmets and weapons across the board rather than just a few specific styles, this a great way to go. My parts bins are getting rather spare as I assign stuff to draftees from Star Wars or chop them up for customs, so this is the route I'll most likely go, but I'm kinda waiting for Round 2 of the Little Armory stuff Jeff is preparing.

I'm sure I haven't bought as many as Troy, but I have purchased several of these. Maybe around 5.

I'll probably get more sometime.

When I first saw this, I went ballistic! I couldn't believe their was a visor helment again. (this was before I discovered Bricklink) If you need a few more helments and weapons, I say get it. :)
I build, therefore I am.

I most likely would not buy this, because of Bricklink.

Like TTK said, if you need lots of general pieces, this is the way to go. But usually I find I'd rather bulk order the visored helmets for example...

So I'm going to stick with "no"

Look for sales on Bricklink if it is only helmets and weapons you are looking for. A few european store have sold the KKI kettle helm for as low as .12 cents a piece and spears as low as .03 cents each. Many weapons and other assorted castle goodies can be found at times for less than .20 cents each. I am always on the lookout and my average price for weapons makes this type of castle accessory pack obsolete. If TLC started making sets with euro armor and a visored helm in the same pack then these packs would have more value. It is hard to arm 50 - 100 soldiers with the spoils from this pack. So I voted against buying them.

I've never bought this set before. It is a good set for the price. I've just never gotten around to buying it.

I bought 8 of them :D
It is very useful to obtain weapons, helmets and a skeleton (for my armies of deaths alive)

But some of these parts quickly become useless: I do not need (for the moment ??? ) of 8 white beards, 8 blue hats, 8 KK1 shields,...

I would have preferred that they replace the shields of KK1 by those of royal knights... :?
