Post by LEGO_KNIGHT »

Went to a LEGO sale a week ago and got myself a few sets. :D The BFF #10039 was selling at $11 and the pirate ship #10040 at $43. Lots of small HP set selling at $2-$5.

Where? What the heck is a LEGO warehouse sale? Where can you find them? What are you talking about?

Give more details please.

All I can say is: WOW!!!!

You better have bought several of the BFF's. You might not hear the end of it if you didn't. :)

Regrettably, I think that if you're in Canada, you may as well forget the whole things. Most of us don't have a LEGO business place within a day's drive. Or more. Pity!

Wahhhh! I want lego! A lego warehouse sale? Golly, man I wish there was a lego store in Alberta. The only Canadian lego store I ever heard about was one in Guelph ON.

Guelph? Maybe you mean the one in St.Jacob's Outlet Mall on the edge of Waterloo - Bricks and Blocks. It's about 15 minutes from my home :D
It isn't a TLC store. Privately run, it sells only Lego products. No PAB unfortunately, but I celebrated my 40th birthday in their Party Room. Lots of silly fun.

The LEGO sale took place in my country, Singapore. It happens almost every year. Whenever they need to clear their old stock, they would annouce a sale, especially to their LEGO club members. :D

I got myself 2 sets of the pirate ship and 3 sets of the BFF.

Just last year, they were selling ninja castles set for about $11, considering that the Ninja series came out in 1999 (4 years ago!). I suspect there are still old sets that tucked at the corner of the warehouse.
