Custom Norman Keep

Post by HenrytheV »

Hey guys,

Here it goes, me breaking down and selling my most prized part of my collection.

Image

The complete Norman Keep model stands at over 17 inches high and includes at least 6000 black 1X2's and 800 light grey 1X2's alone in the exterior. The walls are at least 2 thick throughout the entire model. The front guardhouse/entrance with a working portcullis pulls off, allowing access to its interior. Each level also pulls off, including four successive floors linked by a brick-built spiral staircase. The second floor is furnished, including beds in the guard room. The basement is unfinished (as all good basements are), but I will include more than enough 1X2 light grey and white light grey plates to cover it in a checkered pattern.

The model itself includes all old colors, the only new colored piece is the winch for the portcullis.

Price: $800

Estimating shipping, it will be around $60 to ship it to NYC (with a box weighing 40 pounds of 21 X 15 X 17 inches). I think it weighs 40 pounds, I don't have a scale that goes up to that and I haven't had the gumption to take it anywhere and get it weighed. For interested buyers I will get a more accurate shipping quote.

For any public questions, please see the topic I posted in the MOC forum. For private questions, just PM me. ;)

God Bless,

Jon

Price slashed to $800.

I will be leaving home for the next two years on August 12th. If I do not sell this by then I will be breaking it down and storing the pieces. Thanks for looking!

God Bless,

Jon

I'm leaving on Sunday, so between now and then I will not have time to do anything with my Lego. This thread can be locked now.

Thanks for looking everyone! God Bless, :D
