I posted earlier that Sean and I would both be at Emerald City Comic Con all weekend and would exchange the box at that time....

I am done with the box. I made an executive decision and added Fraslund. I handed him the box in person today and he plans to mail it tomorrow. For the record, only Friskywhiskers (as the host) and myself (as an Admin) can add people to the current Jambalaya.

Here are my pics.

PS. I told Will Chapman what we were doing and that the European members asked for Brickarms prototypes. He generously gave me a bag of castle prototypes at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. I added some more prototypes from my own collection, as well as the official LEGO pieces. I hope you all enjoy them.

Thanks again for letting me jump in. I didn't join initially because I thought there might be too many, but when I talked to Josh we planned a quick turnaround.

I felt bad for taking 2 of the Brickarms weapons, so hopefully I made up for it :D

What I took:

What I put in:

I added some full branches from my huge tree I built for CCCX to show how I build my "Convention Trees". They are incredibly sturdy and stay together very well during transport and allow for density. I also have a couple of custom built weapons; a Balista I built with my first castle and an epic sword I built for my main character.

I will ship to Austria in the morning.

Edit* I also added a special altbrick surprise not pictured :P

My hope is that there is enough Brickarms Castle prototypes to make it through everyone who is left. I knew Fraslund wouldn't get greedy...here's hoping no one else does.

How should we value these prototypes?
I have no idea about that how much they are worth..
Do we value them as regular brickarms items or how,i guess its your choice Josh. ;)

With additions to the box like that, I'm sure no-one is going to mind an extra person :D

With all this awesome stuff coming and going I better start working out what I'm going to put in it. Think I've got a pile of unwanted, faded and chewed bricks somewhere here... (that's a joke of course).
Less talking, more MOCing.

Ultimately, that is up to you, but they are much rarer than regular brickarms items. Castle prototypes are not something he turns out on a regular basis. Will told me that there wouldn't be any new castle items for awhile. Also, at BrickCon he gave me all the removable head halberds he had and I don't think he is planning another run any time soon. I've been dishing them out slowly to folks I know, so those are going to be pretty rare.

As for an actual price value, I don't sell any of the prototypes that Will give me, so I wouldn't know.

I would say value them between $5-16 each. Thats just based on past experiences with prototypes.

Package is on its way to Austria. If the package is coming back to the states, I would probably downsize the box/weight by removing some of the basic brick and panels. With the current contents you are looking sizable shipping cost.

Thanks again Josh for paying for a huge chunk of that!

Great contributions, David! I'm sure that box is getting really full by now!! You guys over in Europe better start emptying it out, or else Frisky is going to get a 500% return on his initial investment! ;)

hey I'm good with that! Nah just kidding. you guys go to town, I wouldn't you to pay that much for shipping. As long as I get a fair amount of parts back I'm good,

I don't know how heavy it will still be by time i'm sending it back, depends on whats in it really, but the way i'm seeing it the Lego i'l be putting in will be spares and extras so I don't mind "giving them away" essentially. I'm hoping that the cost of the shipping will be me equalling what im taking out, so, buying it basically or getting some things cheaper or for good value.

What I will say is I dont have any interest in the Brickarms so if we are dividing it up someone can double dip and go ahead and take mine for themselves. Hopefully there will still be some for frisky of course, but don't miss out on my behalf certainly :)

/also needs to go away and build a supply of possible jambalaya ingredients :tasty:
